Jason was a few minutes late but called me on my cell and explained he was on his way. He also drives school bus part time as a sub and they dont always get off at the same time, but it was fine and he was there at his shop promptly. Jason allowed me to use his vehicle while he worked on mine so I could go a few miles down the road and take care of some business at the local county building. When I got back he had the Jeep in the air and had the rear end completely torn down. He showed me a few problems I wasnt aware of and educated me as to why I was getting such a growl in the rear end. Someone who had worked on it prior to my owning it hadnt properly shimmed the gears but Jason suggested I have it done while we were doing this work as that part had to be removed to replace the seals. I agreed. My wife came and picked me up and in aprox 3 hrs I got a call saying it was done and the amount it cost. Went back to his shop and he showed me his work before putting the rear pumpkin back on and the tires. Felt good to see what had been done and he was very helpful explaining things. Took him another 10 mins to put things back together and lower Jeep off the lift, and as a bonus he had me pop the hood and checked all my fluids. My brake fluid and transmission fluid were down just a little bit and he topped them off for me as well as filled the window washer fluid canister with a new product he was trying and sells. Didnt charge me a dime for that additional service. We then took it for a test spin, both of us. I was impressed that he laid down a cloth on my seat, even though my Jeep is much more a work truck and a little dirt wouldnt hurt it. Still, that impressed me that he didnt just treat it as such. We took a short ride, a couple miles down the road, and back and it was quieter then it had EVER been. I could now hear the radio without it being turned way up. Happy Happy Happy is what comes to mind. We got back to the shop and he and I settled up.I offered him an additional $10 for the fluids and extra's and he refused it saying it was part of his service. I was VERY happy with his work, professionalism and have told a few friends that he is the place to go if they need auto repair. Honest and hard working. Explains and even willing to show me the old parts he removed. I have since rescheduled with him to have some more work done to the Jeep and a winter tune up to my wife's car. I would HIGHLY recommend taking your vehicles to this shop. I was quoted prices from $600 - $1300 for this work for other shops and their appointments were weeks away. I needed my vehicle in ASAP as I was heading out of town the following week and needed to know it was safe to drive. I did, and it was.
