Went for a routine check-up and examination. All went well and was happy with the services provided for the most part. I was told that my cholesterol level was high and to change my diet and come back in three months. I returned and was retested. My cholesterol had dropped but I was told that it was still high and I needed to take a statin. I was not impressed by the immediate need for prescription medication and have since lowered my cholesterol by modifying my diet further.
