Elias and Lewis, came to my house on 01/23/25 with a flood issue and they went straight to work to remove water down the basement and came next day with a crew to move stuff and take pictures of the damage, also to cut out the two foot section all around basement to prevent mold. They did a great job and would highly recommend them.

I was referred to True Restorations, Inc. by my plumber, who said they’d be able to uncover a tricky leak that had led to mold—and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The project manager, Elias, was incredibly responsive and flexible, and the team started promptly with anti-mold and dehumidifying treatments. They worked efficiently, answered all my questions with patience, and handled every detail with care. Special thanks to Elias, Jesse, Lewis, John, and Vinny for carefully removing/treating cabinets, countertops, and sheetrock without any damage. Lewis and his crew showed up at our home in Massapequa around midnight on a Sunday, less than 2 hours after they were called, and got right to work. The installed several devices which extracted ankle-deep water out of our basement. Lewis explained the process in regular language so the homewoner can understand. They were very professional, neat and courteous. They worked with us on scheduling the retrieval of their equipment as we were not available for the original date they proposed. Cant say enough about this company. Will definitely recommend to friends.

Shoutout to Elias Mercado for working so hard to get that done. The rest of the staff was very professional whenever they showed up to do the rest of the work to dry out the basement. We hired True Restoration to mitigate damage in my parents house caused by a storm that resulted in water entering the basement including the laundry room, bathroom and den. Frank and Elias were involved thru the whole process. The team was dispatched right away and performed all of the work as promised for a fair value. The work included carpet removal, drywall and drydown The team of Rashon, Jesse, Dave and Josh were exceptionally professional, neat and easy to work with. Would highly recommend this company

I needed to take a few minutes to express my great satisfaction with the work performed here at our Independent Living community, both in remediation and especially reconstruction. As is often the case, our workers can be our greatest selling point, or our greatest detriment. The former is certainly the case here. I expressed to True Restorations in advance, the need to perform the work with the utmost care and cleanliness, being that it was pretty much all being performed in occupied spaces, and I was nowhere near disappointed. The work performed in the apartment bathroom was done with professional results all in one day thereby minimizing disruption where needed most, and the manner in which their crews cordoned off and worked within such a small area, preventing dust and debris from travelling to other areas of the apartment, while the residents were home, was both impressive and perfect. The Mailroom ceiling area protection was even more impressive, as they not only kept the area enclosed (twice), but they also managed to strategically hang the barriers so that the residents could still access their mailboxesâ ¦ and that wasnâ t easy to do given the areas of the ceiling that were being repaired. Moving on to the leak remediation and restoration in a separate apartment, I think that if I were standing still in that apartment while their crew was prepping it, they would have wrapped me up in plastic too. They covered all areas leading up to the bedroom, and then covered the furniture in the bedroom as well as cordoning off the closet where the work was performed. I was able to show pictures of this to the resident who of course was already anxiously concerned, and that went a long way in allaying their concerns, which as you can imagine is part of the effort I am challenged with. Working with True Restorations from start to finish has been a great experience and Iâ ll not hesitate to engage them again if needed, nor will I hesitate to confidently recommend their services both professionally and personally.

We unfortunately had a leak that led to mold in our downstairs bathroom. Our first line of contact was Michelle, who could not have been nicer and more reassuring. She set us up with a team and let us know she was available for anything we needed. From the first minute we spoke with Vinny we felt at ease. He took us through the process of what was to come step by step and patiently answered our questions - sometimes multiple times over! He made himself available, even over the weekend, and was always happy to answer questions and explain things. When our insurance adjustor came he helped us articulate what the issues were which was extremely helpful and made the process painless. The four gentlemen that came and did the mold remediation and follow-up (Jesse, Dave, Will, John) were also courteous, respectful and helpful. Each day, I got a phone call at the beginning of the day letting me know exactly when they would be there to check the area. As the project was completed, Vinny was in touch and again, explained what next steps would be as far as contact with insurance was concerned. I cannot recommend this company and these employees enough. It's quite overwhelming to learn that you have mold in your house and the ease with which this was dealt with made the entire situation more bearable. Thank you True Restorations!

My Bellmore basement flooded because of a faulty furnace valve. True Restoration came to the rescue! Dave, Jesse and Elias came to mitigate the situation. Then Vinnie, the coordinator and Steve, the project manager arranged for work to be done. The carpenters, Jeff and Ray, did an excellent job and were unobtrusive. They repaired the basement quickly and efficiently even doing extra. It looks like new. Thank you.

True Restoration did an excellent job repairing my basement after water damage. Wilmer and Eric repaired the walls;sheet rocked,taped and trimmed out in wood. They did a beautiful job.The painters did an equally good job. All the corners and lines were cut in sharp. The fellas from Model carpet preped the floor and did a great job with the vinyl and carpet. True Restorations assisted with the insurance claim and make the process seamless. True Restorations was the first company that reached out to us when there was a water leak in basement. Dan and his crew were in our home within 45 minutes and took charge immediately. Dan assisted me in filing home owners insurance claim to begin the process. In a truly overwhelming time for our family, they were able to remove water, carpeting and inspecting walls for mold. Dan and his crew monitored the situation by setting fans, storing, removing furniture and personal items while maintaining a sense of normalcy. Dan came back on weekend to spray botanical odor elimainator when I complained of musty smell! We have decided to use Tru Restoration for our basement renovation project as well. 5 stars and kudos to the hardworking team.
