Sims Steel

Prior to the elevation, Bill Sims, the company president met with us to answer our many questions and concerns about the project. He also took us to see several houses in our community that were already in the process of being lifted so we could appreciate that this is, in fact, possible to do. We started the process in February,2013 and the house was lowered onto the new foundation near the end of March. Sims also installed steel headers and lally columns under the house for support. Weather was a factor, and Sims worked well with our masonry contractor to coordinate the various things each of them had to do before the other could do the next step. Sims price was fair, and the service and support we received from his staff was outstanding. Lisa, the office manager even stopped by our apartment one evening to pick up the latest architectural plans, to expedite the process.
