I hired Mike for several jobs and 3 out of 4 were done very well. He apologized for the one job that did not go well and made amends for it, which I appreciated. He really wants to do right by his clients and as such, stays in touch with them from start to finish.

UPDATE- after some time has passed I had several tiles come loose. They repaired 5 or 6 of them over several visits but after 2 cancellations (And 1 cancellation of my own) I still have at least 2 loose tiles and many that sound hollow underneath. The frustrating part is that before the job started, I asked if the floor needed to be leveled and was told no. I had them back a 2nd time before starting the project and asked them to double check if the floor needed to be leveled and they said no again. Clearly it did. ----------------------------------------------------------- I used RHP for a tile floor in my basement. The price and time estimate Mike gave me on the first day were precise and the work is great. Mike himself was on the job every day.i would recommend them and would use them again.
Response from RHP Unlimited
"David, upon the initial inspection of the job we mentioned that you could self level the floor. However it was an increase in the price (although we were just charging you for material). We came back 3 different times after almost a 6 month time period. We told you the "Hollow" sound was normal when dealing with long planks. Last we spoke (after you canceled on us) you said you would get back to us with a date and you never did. We stand by our Quality of work but can not fix something if you do not call us. ___________________________________________________ Thank You, Dave! It was a pleasure working with you to get your basement done!"

**WARNING** DO NOT HIRE! They DO NOT KNOW BASIC CONSTRUCTION!!! I hired them to widen an opening and they cut the studs and left them hanging in the wall. Did not put in the proper support or any support for that matter. Checked with Consumer Affairs and they do not have a license. Even the trim and finish work wasn?t done correctly. They left large spaces and cracked molding. When I pointed it out they filled everything with silicone. They moved outlets and buried a junction box in my ceiling which is not to code. I have to rehire someone now because what they did is unsafe.
Response from RHP Unlimited
"Christine, I'm sorry that you ended up unhappy. First, we are licensed and insured. Second, when we widen any opening we always re-support the wall. Its common practice for us. We did, however, remove a faulty outlet, cap the wiring, and put it inside a junction box. You never allowed us to install an access panel, we even offered to pay for an electrician since whomever ran the lines did not do it properly. We did a lot of extra work for you which we did not charge for including caulking of molding which is finishing work that you wanted to do yourself."

We were very, very pleased with Brian your local handyman. He repaired our deck quickly and very inexpensivly. There were others that came and made the job appear to be much larger and asked thousands instead of hundreds. Have already recommended him to a friend who also hired him. Very, very good choice.
Response from RHP Unlimited
"Thanks! Brian's one of the best guys we've got!"

Rob & Mike are nice guys who work hard. They did a fairly nice job on our basement. They need to spend a little more time being more careful bringing drywall down the stairs, operating in areas where ceiling height isnt the norm. They also need to pay more attention to detail when taping and spackling. Seams are visible as are areas where spackle wasnt sanded enough. They did try to correct everything we pointed out. We give them an A for effort!!
Response from RHP Unlimited
"Thanks! We were very careful when we brought sheet rock down the tight stairwell there wasn't much room. We thank you for the feedback it helps us better ourselves as a company. We are glad you liked the way it turned out."
