Karl is very respectful, professional, and helpful. I began a landscaping project which included a vacant garden excavation. I contacted Karl to ask for help and he brought a crew of 10 men to complete the work. The project was done in about 2 1/2 hours for a fair price. -Joseph Smith

Karl came out as soon as I notified him that I wanted to re-landscape my front yard. He came out and listened to what I wanted from their he drew a picture explained everything and was back in three days to finish the project ! It was exactly as I envisioned it! And I have received many compliments on it!

They raked the leaves in my yard to the street. For $108.00 the leaves should have been bagged.

Extremely disappointed with my $4000.00 project. My scrubs died {11} to be exact in 2017 after the project was completed. I asked him to come over and look at them and after 5 visits to my house he insisted that the scrubs could be rehabbed. When he came to my house for the last time to look at the scrubs he pulled a dead scrub out of the ground and said I had a "drainage" problems and proceeded to say that he was "not responsible for drainage problems". How did he know I had a drainage problems, I asked myself. The next day I pulled the 11 scrubs out of the ground and replaced them with new scrubs at a cost of $595.00. Then I called Home Advisors and he contacted Karl Krell. My discuss over the phone was quite different then the conversation at my house. He denied he said anything and I told him that I documented everyone of our conversations. To summarized he agreed to reinburse me $425.00. I accepted this offer. However, now 2018 I look in the backyard and the remainder of the scrubs are failing. Beware of this company!!

"After having a great working relationship with Jim he called to tell me some of his boxwoods were dying. I went over 3 times, not 5, and told him they could possibly be saved if we trimmed off the outer yellow. after the the third visit I pulled a boxwood to find the clay on the bottom of the holes (grand island known for clay) had retained puddles of water which was giving the plants root rot. I did tell him its not my fault for his yard's drainage but evidently he feels I'm responsible for the clay in his yard. I always treat my customers with respect as I did with this customer. I replaced, at my cost, a chunk of his plants that had nothing to do with how we planted them or the plants themselves but he still feels its our fault. I will always work with my customers to make a situation right, as most all of my reviews but this one show. I still would discuss with this customer ways he could save his plants. But going on here to try to hurt my companies reputation does nothing to resolve the situation. We firmly stand behind our high quality reputation of the last 14 years."

Retaining Wall - Install
Our retaining wall was finally completed on Thursday, October 19th and the wall is gorgeous. My husband and I are extremely pleased with the finished project and we would highly recommend this company for any retaining wall or stone wall installation. Very nice to work with and very professional - they take pride in their work.

WOULD HAVE BEEN A 5, BUT I HAD TO HOSE DOWN DRIVEWAY FOR ALMOST AN HOUR AFTER. IN THEIR DEFENSE, THERE WAS A MONSOON RAIN STORM IN MIDDLE OF JOB. BUT I SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO DO IT. OVERALL WORK WAS GREAT.

Carl and his crew were very awesome. They came in and did a very good job on building a retaining wall and our landscaping. He took his time and explained everything to us. WE liked his work so much that we now took a seasonal contract with him. You can go wrong with this company at all!
