None of the workers communicate with Marcelo, the owner…whom by the way lacks the skills and professionalism to run a people business. First of all, the workers destroyed my flowers in the back yard, mowing right over them. I caught a few of the workers eating my fruits from my fig tree. They broke my light switch for my pool filter. They were hired to trim the trees and they took three weeks to get to it. We have some lights wrapped around a few of the trees, the gentleman in charge said to me that they would take down the lights and put them back on once they were done with the trimming. Two months later the lights were still not back on my trees. I asked every week they came on Wednesdays to please out the lights back on. It was always promised but the promise was never delivered. Finally I speak to another one of the workers and they said they put the lights back on right on the spot. He then realized they had broken one of the light sets and said that he couldn’t put the lights back on. He was very nice. He also gave me Marcelo’s cell number. Please know that my lights were broken by them, my flowers were destroyed by them, my lights switch for my pool filter was broken by them and they were eating my fruits. Knowing all of this and feeling very frustrated I called Marcelo(terrible attitude) and introduced myself. His answer to me Introducing myself was “yeah ok” I proceeded to let him know what had been going on. He said “I‘ll have to look into it, this is the first time I am hearing about this. You should have called me” his voice had a strong hint of annoyed mixed with a big pinch of you are wasting my time, lady. He never once apologized for the misunderstanding and he was quick to get off the phone without a proper apology for this ongoing issue. He then calls me an hour later and tells me that all of the lights were back on. When I arrived home, it looked like someone just threw them on top of the tree because they were going to be late to catch a flight to Hawaii and the broken light set was still resting untouched, just how it was left by the other worker who claimed he would text a picture of the lights to Marcelo to replace them. Guess what guys?!?! Marcelo claims he never received a picture and that he knew nothing about this issue. I called Marcelo to let him know that my broken lights need to be replaced by him. He said “that’s not my problem, you should have taken down the lights yourself”. As you can imagine I became quite upset by his extremely sophomoric response to which I responded by letting him know that I expect my lights replaced and I let him know which store he can get them from. He yelled “ you know what? I am tired of you and your attitude. I don’t need this… this your fault because you should have taken down the lights and your are rude and I am not going to be nice to you, I am not paying for your lights. I don’t care” needless to say he is fired! Where on earth do you yell at your customers and treat them like pure garbage? Marcelo’s landscaping business.

My Parents have been customers of their’s for at least twenty years. My mom passed away five months ago. So it’s just my Dad living in the house and they do a terrible job. They are the worst their services are no longer needed, I will be looking for a new landscaping company.

The lawn is always neatly done and they respond to specific requests. We plan to have them do more extensive landscaping in the spring

I have had them for years. They charge me for everything because a floor in the house so they do the front and the back. So all the maintenance, the clean up,when they put in the seeds, when they put in the fertilizer and they everything as well as the package deal and it is $248 a month. They are reliable and whatever I ask for he he accommodates. Thye've been excellent. Every time I need anything I call the owner and he does whatever I need.

Great response time.  Showed up at my door 10 minutes earlier than I expected and gave me a reasonable quote in comparison to what my friends pay for their services.  I have already seen an improvement in my lawn in just 2 treatments.  The clover is disappearing and the dandelions have been minimized.  They were even careful to not spray my flowers and pepper plants I had growing, which I really appreciate

I've used Marcelo's for many years for lawn and garden maintenance.   He always returns calls or e-mails promptly.  
Super Storm Sandy tore down large trees and ripped up all my front yard landscaping.  Marcelo helped me design a landscaping plan, took time to visit the Nursery with me to select trees and bushes, gave me a more than fair estimate, and completed the work to my satisfaction with his crew of very polite, helpful and efficient workers.    I highly recommend Marcelo's Landscaping for all your lawn and garden needs.

He was one of three estimates we got.  We chose him because his fee was the most reasonable.  He arrived promptly with two trucks and a crew of 5.  They did the cleanup, raking up leaves, edging and mowing, prepping the beds, etc.  They then used a lot of topsoil to level out the front and back lawns.  Then thy seeded and fertilized.  They did a great job.

overall, went quite well; I even added services during the year. my landscaping hasn't looked this well in years.
