The roof was completed. The trim was begun at the end of the summer of 2012!! 16 months later it is not complete. He removed the security lights from the back of the house and left the wires exposed and never replaced fixtures. I don't know where they are. Sections of the facia trim are unfinished. Last week a finished section came off in the wind. Over the last year I have called many times and either got a machine and never received a call back or when I reached him I was promised completion. He said he would not charge me the last $3000 because of the delay - his suggestions not my request. I wasn't asking for anything but the completion of the project. In October I called him asking for an explanation of why he wasn't finishing the job and he hung up on me. I was not rude to him just frustrated. He probably has 2-4 days work to finish the job and yet he doesn't do it. It will be difficult for me to find someone to finish the job for me. ( I have had my sons replace the light fixtures but they cannot do the second story facia work.)
Description of Work: We contracted to aluminum clad the house trim and to replace part of roof with goal of making house maintenance free. The roof was completer but PRG never finished the trim. We contracted with him in July 2012 and job is not yet finished.

PRG (Paul R. Golanec) did a great job. We solicited four quotations; two came to look and gave vague verbal quotes, but never followed up with written estimates and didn't return calls. Paul's quote was a bit higher than the others, but he had no problem including the flat membrane roof, and also had no qualifications and exclusions. The other contractors all recommended replacing the gutters with new insisting that they would be damaged, (an additional $1500); Paul was confident he could remove and reinstall them, which he did. He was very patient with samples and information, and once he got the job started and completed the work precisely when he said he would. His crew did all the work without damaging the plants around the house, which wasn't easy because of the 3 layers of old roof, and did a great job cleaning up. As far as I know, PRG does not advertise, and was recommended to us by a friend of a previous customer, and we have subsequently also recommended him.
Description of Work: Work included removal of 3 layers of existing composition shingle on our house, and replacement with a new composition shingle roof. Removal and replacement of a flat membrane roof under a second floor deck, as well as new chimney flashing, etc. The work also included removal and re-installation of the existing gutters, complete clean up and removal of the old roof material.
