Drain Cleaning
I setup an appointment to have an estimate done for a basement bathroom remodel. When the plumber was 30min late I called the company for an ETA and I was informed that they would call me back in 5 min with an update and the plumber should be on the way. After another 30min of waiting for a return call I called back and was given the same excuse saying he is on his way and he will call me back for another ETA. Finally a hour and half late the plumber asked to reschedule our appointment which was to take place the next day at the same time. The next day the plumber was once again a no call/no show. Again, I spoke with the company about an ETA and was told the same story stating he is on his way and they will call me back in 5min with a status update. I never received a return call and the plumber never showed. Not only was my time wasted twice waiting for a plumber who never showed but there is no customer service. Massive waste of time.

The upstairs bathroom had to be addressed because of an ongoing problem of a slow toilet leak. As a result, underlying floor damage and rot were noted in the bathroom as well as damage to the downstairs sheet rock and underlying floor joists. After trying to contact other plumbers, (some didn't return the calls or called after a lengthy time.), it was decided to check the yellow pages and The Rooter Guys were contacted. They were called twice. The first time they came over in a timely manner and tried to correct the problem. It was determined that the problem was more involved. Therefore, they gave a proposal and were given the work. Unfortunately, many calls had to be made as to when the work was to be completed. Promises were made and not followed through. At times it was difficult to contact them. It was observed that some of the work, namely repairing the sheet rock, was not done correctly. Owner made preparations prior to the work done such as putting down protective coverings on carpeted stairs and removing wood wall moldings in the bathroom to make it easier for the work to be done. The plumbers didn't really take care to clean up each time and if the coverings on the carpet weren't there, stains surely would have been noted. Ultimately, the work was completed, but not in a timely manner.
