They are exceptional. They're caring, they definitely love animals and they take good care of them. They are very prompt and professional. We used a vet before that we were not really happy with. We are now making a longer drive, but it's all worth it. I think they are little higher than other places, but in my opinion you get what you pay for.

I called Shaker Vet as my dog was having trouble breathing From the initial phone call to leaving the building ( without my dog )EVERYONE was wonderful....Dr. Tanya Hutchins   displayed a degree of clinical expertise, empathy , kindness and patience that helped me wrestle with the options and ultimately come to the decision that I know was the best for Max  I have had to euthanize other beloved pets in my life but this experience was truly unique and special My profound thanks to her and all the wonderful staff that works there...thank you Mary Alice

Charlie was at death's door. The vets at Shaker Vet gave us another 6 months that we would never have had. Everyone there cares so much about your pet.....if only we had found them sooner, Charlie might still be here. He passed on 6/21/2014.
My son just went there with his dog....another vet told him that his dog's tooth was fine.....fortunately, I told him to get another opinion. KC is only 6 years old and she will live a healthier, happier longer life because Scott went there.
Don't waste money on other vets where there's a different person all the time.....you cannot compare the value. It's hard even to talk about value and health care. These doctors are there to heal

Charlie has survived the odds once again. I think of it as rent on my pet. If they told me that I could have one more year and it would cost $200 a month, I'd take that. Nothing is certain except the care that your pet will get at Shaker Animal Hospital. I am happy to provide additional information.

I was having trouble finding a and quot;puppy classand quot; that I could work with my schedule. She called around and found someone to help us.

Now my puppy is better behaved and I am happier. Also, I have used the boarding services and he loves to go. They are very busy and sometimes can run late, but I think that is a minor inconvenience for the service that they give.

My dog was treated wonderfully. I called each day to get an update and was given a very detailed report.

Even though we have a scheduled appointment, we have always had to wait. Our dog gets extremely anxious when we go and having to wait makes it worse for her. It would be nice if upon our arrival we didn't have to wait for more than a few minutes. the wait time is usually 20 minutes. However, our dog gets excellent care there and I trust the veterinarians.

We brought our dog in for his Cushing disease checkup. Dr. Crowe examined our dog and reordered the script he needs to keep his hormones in balance. We also discussed our dogs difficulty with gagging and Dr. Crowe ordered xrays to rule our serious disease. Both our dogs also had their nails trimmed. We have been going to Shaker since the early 70s having taken all of our pets there. Dr. Wolfe is an outstanding diagnostician, but he is now semi retired. We find his veterinary staff to be very kind and competent. Many of our pets have been so well treated that we would never go anywhere else. The practice has become very big, however,and you do have to wait in the waiting room for some time. I still find the care and competency worth the wait. Whether it be emergency care, routine checkups, accupuncture or boarding, we have never been disappointed. We know our pets will receive loving and expert treatment.

I was there three months ago. The only complaint I have is that there is always a wait. It is normally 20 minutes or so. That is the only negative. They treat my dogs very well.
