Does Plowing and sidewalk shoveling. Very dependable. His paving company was highly respected prior to his selling the business. We used him for sealing and repairs of our driveway. I would trust Phil with any home improvement. He is a stand up guy. I would highly recommend.

Hired Phil for driveway snowplowing. Hired him for years, and usually did an good job. As his business grew, he seemed to be more & more rushed. 3 years ago, plowed my driveway, did not adjust plow appropriately, and completely dug up the asphalt on my driveway! Completley ruined it. The driveway was not in perfect condition, but after Phil got done, it was unusable! When I contacted him and told him what had happened, he replied, "Well, what do you want me to do about it?" I was hoping to at least get him to clean up the mess he made--broken asphalt all over my lawn, piled several inches high. Took NO accountability for his actions, and hung me out to dry. There is no substitute for integrity. I did not find any with this person.

"This complaint is from the beginning of 2021, yes over 3 years ago. Beth [Consumer Name Removed] was a per call and per plow customer, she would only call for service after her driveway became impassable. This service was provided more as a courtesy than a money making endeavor on our part, due to Beth's apparent financial struggles. I had never seen the driveway without snow on it, so it's condition was unknown to me. On my last visit, the ground was not frozen and the pavement peeled up from the plowing. This can happen when pavement is in poor condition. Beth's pavement was less than 1" thick, at the end of it's life, had many cracks throughout and was broken up into very small pieces prior to our last visit. When Beth called to complain, I explained these facts to her and encouraged her to get opinions from other professionals in the paving industry. That was the last I heard about it, until today (6/27/24), and assumed she had accepted my opinion on the matter. Beth's review is a very unfair. I have over 30 years of plowing experience, all of our residential plowing business is by word of mouth and most of our customers have been with us for many years. I do have pictures of the pavement after it peeled up and would be happy to share them with whoever is interested. Please contact me at 518-698-1867. Thank you, Phil"
