They showed up which is a big plus during a hurricane disaster. The crew worked fast and cleaned up the tree debris very well. A bit of damage to the front of the house occurred as the tree was being removed (broke an exterior light, bumped out a bit of the bay window) but this probably could not have been avoided. The main thing was getting that tree off the house. Was to follow up to repair things and did send a work description but it was vague and have yet to have the work done. But, the tree is off the house!

Worst experience with any worker I've ever had. He showed up on a day I was ill, commenced to dig a trench right next to the foundation of the house which I did not want, installed some kind of pipe/drain made of material he didn't discuss with us. Had said he would "run a line" down the side of the house to meet up with a prior drain. However, the "line" we expected to be away from the house. He never consulted us on the details before starting work.
Then installed some kind of channel "drain" at the front of our patio with a very long channel grate that is ugly (there are choices of these and we were offered no choice, he just installed it and in fact installed it on the wrong side of the patio - where we aren't having the primary problem) and I am not certain of everything else he did because I was ill.
He was instructed to undo the trench and drain next to the foundation of the house which he did. Whatever that drain cost we paid for but it wasn't used. He did not offer any reimbursement.
He disconnected some work that was not broken, tried to fix something that didn't need fixing and I don't know if he has reconnected it the way he was asked to.
The rest of what he did I don't know for certain and someone else will have to dig it up to see what he did.
He was paid half before work commenced. He did not explain in detail what he was going to do before he went ahead and did it. We asked him to show up many times but he had other jobs and then the weather was bad and we fully expected another discussion about materials, detailed plans, etc. before he started.
He was paid the other half. I do not see how this cost $1800. He did not bother to tell us how much the material cost, nothing. Now I have to hire someone in the spring to figure out what he did and get rid of the ugly channel drain grate he installed and probably anything else he did.
