"Hi Mr. [Member Name Removed], I'm disappointed you were not satisfied with our service. When customers hire us for gutter cleaning, we hand clean the gutters and flush out the system, as well as include strainers to prevent future clogging as you mentioned. As I recall, you were managing the estate of your parents. The house's gutter system had been neglected for a long time, and there were downspouts that were completely clogged multiple feet up from the ground. To remove these clogs would require us to dismantle the downspouts and unclog them. Additionally, we would need special equipment (electric snake) to snake the underground drains that the downspouts connect into. Unfortunately, this is beyond the scope of a traditional gutter cleaning and requires additional work. I spoke to you on the phone for 30 minutes conveying much of this, and understand your frustration managing the property. As far as proof goes, it's difficult to provide visible evidence from the gutters, but I will go and take pictures of the strainers if it helps. I was personally there when we cleaned the property. Visible branches from the gutter were removed, we marked the clogged downspouts with tape, and we put a placard indicating our presence in either the door or the mailbox. During the call, I offered to visit you at the house the following day to go over our service and point everything out. You live out of state so I understand it's difficult to see things for yourself, but customers will be able to see our work if they are present and generally trust us due to our reputation serving the Westchester area. Again, I'm sorry you weren't satisfied with our service. We may reconsider policy for managed estates when it comes to placing strainers when there are already severely clogged downspouts. And had we been able to identify the clogged drains sooner, perhaps we could have conveyed the amount of work necessary and allow you to consider alternatives. I have worked with Brian for over 20 years. He is completely trustworthy. The men working for him are as well. It is sometimes difficult for him to give an exact bid due to vagaries of he project.In those cases, I agreed on a time and materials basis. It has worked out well for both of us. He isn't rockbottom, but the work his men do and his oversight makes it worth the price.
For gutter cleaning, they send a card or call with a reminder to clean after leaves are down in the fall and after the trees leaf out in the spring.
This year I hired them off season to fix the ceilings in my basement, build shelving there and paint. What a job! It looks great!
Also, they recently installed new windows for the basement and built custom window well covers. (These jobs are not included in the cost of service listed above for the gutter work.)

Our experience has been great. Prices are good but we have copper gutters so we have to replace things now and then. They do excellent work, they are professional, they come when they say they are going to come, and they don't break anything.

They had to change the scheduled arrival time on the work day but once they came they looked intelligent, diligent, workmanlike and performed their tasks extremely well. They even cleaned up winter debris on a deck near one of the gutters that I just hadn't gotten around to doing myself. As individuals, I felt very comfortable with them around my home and I wouldn't hesitate to have them come again.

The guy was very straightforward and he didn?t pressure me to make a decision on the spot when he gave me the estimate. His price was reasonable and he gave me a background about what he was going to do and why he was going to do. He said that he was not going to flush it out with water now, but will flush it out with water in the spring because it might freeze if he did it now. He provided enough information, but not too much information and was honest about it. He let me make a decision. I recommended him to one of my neighbors. I would use him again in future.

During the estimate, they have recommended some additional work to be done for the gutters. We opted not to do so. We agreed to the cleaning of the gutters only. They did not try to pressure me in the additional tasks. This was my first experience with them. I was quite pleased with the results as I would highly recommend them. Unfortunately, I do not recall the cost.
