ABCO Lock & Alarm

Initial call to company was met by the cheeriest voice. Representatives who visited and worked with us were professional, friendly and great to do business with. Explanations, recommendations and instructions were all tailored and it was great to work with folks who truly seemed to love what they do, knew what they were doing and were happy to share their knowledge.

Bobby from ABCO was prompt, courteous, and fast. Had my lock fixed very quickly. Notably, I was charged what I see as customary. I wish I could find local plumbing services that provide the same!

Arrived late. Left garbage, installation staples throughout garage, used my extension cord from my snowblower for the remote. When I called to complain, they were shocked, SHOCKED, that their workmen had left the place like that. I cleaned it up.
BTW, they did a great job of convincing me to install a more expensive model than the one they told me about on the phone. The garage door works well, but the process was unreliable.

Five months later a spring broke. Called to have them honor the warranty. They said they had not installed the springs. Nonsense. They installed an entirely new system. The previous system pulled the door up from the middle of the garage with springs along the sides was changed to a motor in the front by the door with a pulley lifting the door from the front, middle. I hadn't had that system previously, living in the house for 35 years. No question that they installed it, despite denying it and saying the invoice didn't show it. Hey, who knew that the invoice should include every part?

Their workers tried to talk me into a repair for almost $500. I told them both to leave and hired another company to do it and it cost less than their estimate. 

  Even though it was very cold, our contractor performed professionally, quickly  and safely

I had them do everything- locks, alarm, garage door openers. They were knowledgeable and honest. They showed up the same day to do the work! They are a bit more expensive than I had hoped for but they use top quality items and you get what you pay for. Will without question continue to use them.

Only problem was getting someone out to repair the garage door motor. Didn't show up for first appointment and then showed up an hour late for the second appointment. Once there took about an hour to replace the motor.

IT'S GOOD, VERY GOOD. THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS. WE WOULD USE THEM AGAIN BECAUSE THEY WERE DEPENDABLE AND RELIABLE. I FELT THEY DID A GOOD JOB FOR A FAIR PRICE. THE RESPONSIVENESS WAS FINE, AND THEY GAVE ME A TIME WHEN THEY WOULD BE HERE, AND THEY CAME WITHIN THAT TIME.

IT WAS GOOD. HE CAME WHEN HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO COME. HE INSTALLED THE DOOR THAT WAS CONTRACTED. HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO DO IT FOR A CERTAIN PRICE, AND HE DID IT. I WOULD MAKE SURE I WAS HOME THE NEXT TIME HE CAME, WHICH I WASN'T LAST TIME.

THEY ARE VERY GOOD. THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL AND PUNCTUAL. THEY WERE JUST ALL AROUND VERY GOOD. THEY COULD HAVE CHARGE ME FOR A NEW DOOR, BUT THE MAN SAID HE COULD FIX IT AND HE DID.

THEY ARE FINE. THE GARAGE WORKS. THEY WERE HERE PRETTY MUCH WHEN THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO BE HERE. THEY DID IT AT THE PRICE THEY SAID THEY WOULD, AND THEY CLEANED UP WELL AFTER THEMSELVES.
