We needed several different electrical jobs done on an old house we had bought, and found Joe based on good reviews on Angie's List. Our experience with Joe was exceptional. He answered my first call while doing work in a trench, and scheduled a visit to look over the work and offer a quote. His quote was more than reasonable, and he suggested solutions for outdoor lighting that we hadn't considered. We scheduled the day for the work, and Joe was on time, friendly, polite, and did very high quality work for a good price. I couldn't be happier, and will call him the next time I need any electrical work done.

The electrician arrived on Thanksgiving Eve and worked the job to completion. We are so grateful that he was able to come and help us out before the holiday. He really went out of his way the evening before a holiday, having worked the entire day already, before fitting us into his schedule. Was very professional. Thank you DS Power!

Joe was very prompt, personable, and an excellent worker. He did not waste any time but got right to work. removing the old dated fluorescent lights and wiring for the new recessed lights. He answered any questions we had along the way. He is a very friendly and skilled electrician. The job came out beautifully. The lights work perfectly and our kitchen has been transformed . We are definitely going to use him again and have already talked to him about returning to do a future job. Way to go Joe!!

We are very happy with the job as we needed a mailbox installed as soon as possible for a new construction. DS Power was very responsive to our request unlike other providers. The cost for the job was reasonable. Some providers wanted to charge exorbitant amounts and/or could not do the job right away. DS Power returned calls promptly and kept us apprised of when the work would be done. He showed up as promised and got the job done. We would definitely recommend them and use them again. They also provide other services.

The circuit breaker in our house was overloaded-- the breaker would flip whenever the washer/dryer ran simultaneously with the microwave/stove. Nothing too major, but it became an annoyance over the past two years having to use and quot;one appliance at a time.and quot;
A coworker recommended Joe/DS Power to me. I gave him a ring, explained our issue, and he advised it was an issue he could resolve. He stopped by the house yesterday (4/10) and took a look at our circuit breaker panel. He confirmed that the there was too much load on one of the breakers (the washer/dryer). He thoroughly explained the solution (setting up a dedicated outlet for the washer/dryer, running it against the wall and through the basement ceiling and down to a dedicated breaker on the panel) and quoted me for $120. Given the scope of the work that had to be done, I was happy to give him the and quot;go ahead.and quot;
Joe finished the work quickly and cleanly. He showed me the completed work and provided additional info for future reference. The entire process was painless with no attempts to and quot;upselland quot; whatsoever. Joe was cheerful and very personable throughout the process.
Given the quality and professionalism of the work he completed for us, I would definitely call him/DS Power again for future work and recommend him to others, as well.

Straight talker, nice guy, hard worker, lowest quote, on time... what more can you say? You can get other quotes (I always do), but you're going to go with Joe. Will be calling on him again soon.

Before checking reviews I found out from the county that the old circuit breakers in the panel could cause problems.

Joe/DS Power had the lowest bid. He explained everything that was needed to bring the 100amp electrical service (1964 house) up to current code, and did specifically what was needed – no embellishments, like another A-rated firm, which would have charged several hundred dollars more.

He did some preliminary indoor work March 15 during bad weather, and completed the job March 29.
