And he built on every suggestion I had. His quality and craftsmanship is astonishing. We absolutely love our new kitchen. He was just here to look at another project that I know will be perfect!

+ 1 moreChris and helpers arrived on time and got right to work. They moved all furniture and covered everything with plastic drop cloths. I am a perfectionist and the installation was done to the highest level of craftsmanship. The refinishing and sealing of all the floors was done by a subcontractor to Chris, but that crew worked to the same high standards. After they floors were totally dry -several days later-Chris returned and moved all the furniture back. He installed felt pads on the bottoms of each large piece of furniture so I could move them without scratching the floors. My wife and I are very pleased and would certainly hire Chris,is again.
Description of Work: Removed old tile floor in entry and dining area and installed new hardwood flooring. Refinished existing hardwood flooring in great room.

+ -1 moreChris arrived at about 7:30AM with his helper and started to work at about 8:30 AM after he moved his equipment onto the deck. He covered the stairs with a drop cloth in order to not track in any dirt into the Condo. He also covered the deck with a drop cloth in order to catch any wood dust from dropping onto the patio below. Chris and his helper then moved any furniture that was in the way, removed carpet and padding, rolled them up and placed all trash onto the street for garbage pickup. From what I viewed, Chris and his helper are perfectionists. The job came out absolutely great. He and his helper cleaned up after themselves after every day. I appreciated that because I have a dog that likes to pick up and swallow any small object that she sees on the ground. He is very courteous as well and he listened to any concerns that I had regarding the Floor Installation and came up with solutions that worked very well. He is very professional. I will definitely use his services again.
Description of Work: Chris Volkman installed a Hardwood Floor in my Condo. About 650 Square Feet of Armstrong Bruce Pre-Finished Hardwood Flooring in my Great Room, Dining Area & Foyer.
