About us
Young Lyon Floor Covering was started in Lake Placid, New York in 1988 by Rick Young and Chuck Lyon. We began providing high quality full-service floor covering to the Adirondack region with a showroom and warehouse in Cold Brook Plaza. In just five years, the business outgrew that space and in 1993 we expanded into hardware and moved to our current location across from Price Chopper, becoming Young Lyon True Value.
