C&C Seamless Gutters

"May 15, 2015 met with [Member Name Removed], gave estimate, later that day she called said she would like me to install her gutters but the price was not in her budget. After discussing the job, I agreed to lower the price, and both agreed on me installing her new gutter system. May 17,2015 met with [Member Name Removed] at her residence and taken down the old gutter system she had on the house. At that point i suggested in CERTAIN AREAS she install 1X2 wood, she agreed. A few days later after [Member Name Removed] was done doing some paining, and installing the 1X2 wood I suggested, I went to her home to install the gutters. To my surprise I had noticed she had installed the 1X2 wood all around the house, no just the CERTAIN AREAS I recommended. I felt her and the boyfriend had a bit of an attitude showing as if they knew more then me. [Member Name Removed] was home the entire time of the installation. When the job was completed, I went over what was done with [Member Name Removed], she approved the job and handed me a check. Approximately 2 days later, [Member Name Removed]'s boyfriend called me and asked if I can meet with him to go over some issues, I met with him on a saturday, when I arrived [Member Name Removed] was not home. The boyfriend asked me to make adjustments, so I did, even though I recommended it not be done, but again, I felt his attitude of him knowing more then me. The boyfriend wanted the high point lowered 1/8", and the low point raised 1/8" . He expressed he did not like the white drip edge (this is an item that was discussed with [Member Name Removed] when discussing the estimate, she agreed so it was pit in the contract) I told him white was agreed upon, and having 1X2 all around the house was not necessary, but to make HIM happy, I gave him a can of spray paint so he could spray what he was not happy with. [Member Name Removed] called the next day after the adjustment as requested from the boyfriend was made, and proceeded to speak in an angry tone and told me she poured a glass of water in the gutter and its sitting there. I told her when I installed the gutters the first time they were working, but your boyfriend insisted I make the changes he wanted with raising and lowering 1/8" I did as both the homeowner and boyfriend asked. Thats when I lost my patience with her, my experience of 27 years, never ever had such a problem with a customer. They both had different opinions to the installation, they both apparently could not agree on anything together, and put me in the middle and expected me to keep coming over and fixing what they insisted they wanted, and then finding out THEIR solutions were not working, instead of listening and letting me do my job the way its sopose to be done, correctly!"
