We are not neighbors or relatives of Robin home inspection. We used Robbin’s home inspection to inspect a house we purchased. At the end of the inspection we felt he was working more for the sellers than for us. For instance starting with the attic, the light was not working, omitted from the report, side boards were missing from the eves(not the vents) exposing the rear of the chimney, parts of the roof boards were totally missing showing the bottom of the shingles. Perhaps these definitives Would have been seen if the light was operative It was stated that the driveway was going to need repair , but an importient item as the well head was below ground, not up to code. The radon test were placed in the living room, instead of the basement, showing an acceptable level of radon. We later found out that it is a requirement to test in the basement at the source of the radon. The radon was actually double what the test showed and we had to incur a huge expense for radon remediation The third bedroom was an add on, with no foundation or attic space, the lack of insulation was not picked up, and the room is like a freezer in the winter. The low water pressure was no mentioned in the report and it ended up that the bladder tank was ruptured and any water pressure came from th well pump Scale in the toilet and refrigerator were not reported and we later found out we had very hard water, this was an additional expense because we had to get a water softener All of these items could of left room for negotiation with the seller on the price of the home. There we do not recommend Robin home inspection to any one Al and Cathy Clinton corners

Dale was amazing. His knowledge of construction, mechanicals, and everything a potential home buyer needs to know is beyond compare. He took the time to explain, in plain language, his findings and helped to understand what is important vs just cosmetic. He even goes into the details of how to continue to maintain items and when things should be replaced in the future. I can guarantee, that when Dale is on the job, you will get the unvarnished truth. He is not swayed by real estate agents. In this cutthroat and overwhelming marketplace, where most people may need these services once a decade, Dale was the calm. I highly recommend him. You will never go wrong with him.

Dale was prompt, responsive, professional and extremely knowledgeable. The home we were having inspected was an historic 18th century house and Dale was able to pass along useful information about the condition of the property as well as suggestions for updates to the heating and plumbing systems. Based on his inspection we decided to move forward with the purchase t was well worth the money.
