Great service! Excellent price! My well pump died Thursday night. I called first thing Friday AM and Dave finished up a small job and was here by 9:05. He was excellent at diagnosing the problem, and methodically went through the small things before recommending a new pump. He explained everything to me, and recommended things (new wiring, barb fitting, pressure gauge) without it being a hard sell. He used quality products and materials. He was done before noon, and that's with me asking him to adjust the pressure switch and tank. Everything works great! I am a very satisfied customer.

It went great!! It was a cold snowy day and Dave was on time and was able to diagnose the problem and then rearrange his schedule to fix the issue on the spot so we would have water again. He allowed a household member to help out which allowed us to save a little money as the job required two people. He called me the following day to make sure all was well and offered to replace our well cap with a used one for free to save us a few bucks! I would never use any one else for my well or water softener needs. A great man to deal with...very honest, caring and takes the time required to explain everything. A Plus all the way!

At first, we simply contacted Dave Garlock via email for a simple quote to change the filters on our reverse osmosis system. He was very prompt with replying to our email (a trait that is usually rare when contacting contractors/companies like this). We ended up talking on the phone because we weren't sure that our rare/odd ball system could even be serviced. Dave assured us that if they still made the filters he could help us. He volunteered (free of charge) to come take a look at our rare system to see what he could do to help us out. He came clear out to Cazenovia in a snow storm (being sure to keep his appointment - even though we did not expect him to given the weather!) to take a look at our system. He spent a great deal of time calling distributors and even the reverse osmosis company to try and locate new filters for us. He even volunteered to take a look at our water softener while here to ensure it was running on the right schedule (I don't believe this is customary - but this just shows what kind of guy Dave is!). He ended up finding out our water softener was running to frequently and helped my husband turn down the cycle (which will save us a lot of money in regards to buying salt!). He was careful to take pictures of our reverse osmosis system and continued to research the system for us days after his visit. Sure enough - he found us our rare filters. Dave seriously is a superb guy and really, really knows his stuff. Don't research any longer - call Dave for your water system needs! He's professional, extremely knowledgeable, and VERY honest. He doesn't try to spend your money - he wants to help save you money. A real gem! He is our new "go-to" for water softeners, well pumps, etc.

After reading all the positive reviews on Angie's List, we called CNY Water Warehouse. We spoke with Dave Garlock (the owner) about our ten yr. old well pump that was starting to malfunction. We wanted to replace our old pump with a new top of the line Gould Pump. Dave ordered all the necessary parts and came out to replace it within two days. He was prompt, courteous, professional and above all knowledgeable. When he finished the installation, we asked him to look over our bladder tank and water softener in the basement. He gave us his recommendations and a general price quote without any expectations. We feel Dave is honest, trustworthy and a hard worker. We wouldn't hesitate to use his service in the future.

Dave was great. Very responsive. He came quickly when my pump quit working. He assessed the situation and got me up and running. Given the age of the system I decided to replace it with new equipment. The work was done in a timely manner. Everything was done as estimated and discussed. Very pleased with the service.

Mr Garlock has been servicing my water softener for the last few years.  After noticing a considerable amount of debris and water leaking from the machine I consulted with him and we agreed that it was time to give the system an overhaul. (It was originally installed in 2003)

 Mr Garlock arrived promptly and made sure all possible supplies were on hand.  He replaced both the resin and the carbon material in both cylinders and cleaned out all debris that might cause an issue in the future.  He alerted me of another problem that might need to be addressed if this initial repair didn't completely solve the issue. He recommended I wait a few days to see if the issue was resolved.  If it came back I was to contact him immediately and we would schedule a second visit.  The initial visit lasted approximately 4 hours and Mr Garlock made sure that he cleaned up the work space before leaving. 

Unfortunately, after a few days the trickle of water started up again.  I contacted Mr Garlock immediately and he scheduled me in for that same afternoon to repair the secondary issue.  In approximately an hour the issue was solved.  Can't say enough about the service and attention given by Mr Garlock.  Highly recommend him!

The service and installation went perfect. Within a very short time the water was clear and no longer had an odor.

Just last week the pump in the well shorted out. We had to shut everything down and have a new pump installed. Then had to get everything up and running again. Dave was able to talk me thru everything over the phone and called to be sure all was back working fine.

I'm very happy that I found him on Angie's List and chose to go with him rather than a chain company that I called first.

Dave Garlock and CNY Water Warehouse is fabulous.!!  He knew exactly what we needed, didn't try to over sell us or over price things, did a masterful job of installing the system sensitively in the basement of an 1810 building, worked to ensure we understood everything and helped facilitate the process with the County/State Dept. of Health.  He knows his business inside and out, was personable and easy to work with, a great communicator and went out of his way to make this project a success for us.  I would quit my job tomorrow if it meant I could work with him at CNY Warehouse....no joking!.  

David was very professional in all our dealings. Always on time and ready to answer any concerns. He answered his phone whenever I called even in the evenings and on weekends which is rare in this day and age. He does not try to push any products on you but will recommend what he thinks you need without pressuring you or scaring you as some others do in this business.. I would not hesitate in using his services as he will treat you fairly.

We just had a new well drilled at our house, and like many houses in the area - we hit sulfur.  Dave Garlock, at the CNY Water Warehouse came highly recommended to us.  He was actually recommended by the well drilling company.  Their water treatment person was not available at the time.  (We had a great driller - and it said a lot right from the start when he made this recommendation)  I called Dave on a Tuesday Afternoon, and right from the start, he presented himself in a professional and knowledgeable manner.  He offered to meet me that same evening to look at our system and to assess the problem.
Dave showed up that evening and took the time to explain the different solutions to address our water issues.  He suggested a system that he thought would best remove the high concentrations of sulfur that we had.  Once we agreed on a system, I told him that I would appreciate it if we could get installation done as quickly as possible.  He said that he would do his absolute best.
Right from the start, Dave Garlock appeared professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy.  I was going to be out of town for a couple of days, so I left him access to the house.  Early on Thursday morning - I received a call from Dave and he told me that the system was done.  I was already en route to the house when he called, and told him that I would be there in an hour.  He said that it was no problem, and that he would meet me there to explain the system.  When I arrived, I was extremely pleased with what I saw. It was meticulous work -  obviously a professional job with the plumbing and electrical work that was required.  Beyond that, I couldn't believe how quickly he was able to fit us in to his schedule and complete the project.  
He took they time to explain they system and it worked flawlessly!  Not a whiff or taste of sulfur in the water!  
In the business world today, having someone who does meticulous work AND is someone you can trust, is a great find.  That's what we found with Dave Garlock and the CNY Water Warehouse.  I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs water services.

Wish there was a selection for "A+"! My wife and I seriously cannot say enough good things about Dave. We do not live in Ithaca; this is a vacation home for us and we could not be present when Dave did the work. Even though we could not be there, the work went perfectly and we were amazed and delighted to see the old system completely shut down and the new system perfectly installed in our basement. We now know our water is cleaner and safer. At the same time, we were having some major electrical work done on the home--electrical work Dave needed in order to install the water system. He is located over an hour from our house in Ithaca, but Dave coordinated perfectly with our electrician and personally drove down about a week prior to doing his installation in order to ensure the electrician did the work properly.
Dave is also an easy person to speak with--he answers all questions and has incredible patience with two homeowners who had a LOT of questions :-)
We will use Dave for anything related to our well.

We had used CNY Water Warehouse earlier this year for a new water softner and pressure tank.  So when our water pressure fell to 0 on a weekend, we called Dave for help again.
Dave responded very quickly - in spite of it being Noon on Sunday.  After some diagnosis - it was determined that our old well pump was the issue. 
It required pulling the old pump 290 feet from our well - and then found the wiring was also a concern. (note:  pulling the pump is not a small job!) 
Fortunately, Dave stocked the Goulds pump that we needed - and replaced it and the wiring - and even clorinated our well! 
Dave also placed a followup call - to check that everything was good.
The new pump has been working great for weeks now - and I cannot thank Dave enough for responding to our call for help on the weekend so quickly and getting us back to having running water again.
We've consistently found that Dave takes pride in his work and puts a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Dave was able to schedule us within days of the initial meeting - which was important as we had a related install that was on hold until we had the new water softner installed.

He also called after the installation to ensure that everything was working.
We also had an older pressure tank that was not performing as needed - and Dave responded quickly with another visit to the house to diagnose the issue.  Dave was able to replace our pressure tank quickly - and get our water system back online and working great!
We quickly agreed to Dave temporarily placing his business sign in our yard.  We were happy with his service + pricing - and would recommend him to others.

Outstanding service.  Dave Garlock is really a dedicated professional who follows through on problems until they're solved.  We currently have a well that produces huge volumes of not so good water.  He is diligently working on helping us clear the well and is exploring different filtering options for us.  His service has been tremendous, even coming by on Christmas day when our well started pumping mud.  I would recommend CNY Water Warehouse to anyone.

I can't say enough good things about Dave's service.  He is prompt and efficient and is always ready to help.  He has come to our assistance on Christmas day when our well started pumping mud into our house and is currently assisting us with a new well that has less than optimal water quality.  His prices are reasonable and he's really easy to work with.  Our current situation is a bit of a puzzle and he is diligently working to get us the best water quality possible from the new well.  Highly recommended.

Tank is working well, pressure seems to be holding and I didn't have to buy any unnecessary equipment. I even had supplies sitting by my door the next morning! I wish everyone could be so efficient and helpful. I tell everyone to use his services!

Have a large cistern in basement, Mr. Garlock installed a clorination system and a carbon filter on the cistern, also several shut-off valves, which allow me to transfer the hot water heater, bathroom shower and toilet to the cistern when my well runs dry. He showed up on time, as usual, and we discussed what he planned to do , he explained everything so I could understand it,we agreed and he finished the project in a timely manner. When he finished, he again went over how it worked and showed me how to use the shut-off valves{which he had labeled,nice touch!]. I am very pleased  with Mr. Garlock's professionalism, quality of work,fair prices and willingness to take time to explain the project in a respectful, friendly manner.

Project went well as it always has. I have lousy water, and a very complicated system of holding,backwash and use both chlorine and hydrogen peroxide to treat our water on two systems. Whether it is installing a collection system, replacing the well pump, or repairing/replacing the water treatment systems, Mr. Garlock does what I expect from a good contractor: he calls me back promptly if I leave a message; he comes when he says he will come; and does the job to my satisfaction. And what is most important to me, if I need follow up, I get it. If I have any concerns or a problem, I call .

During Sept/Oct of 2012, David Garlock of CNY Water Warehouse made repeated visits to the home of my very elderly parents to resolve a longtime problem with their water, in both quality and supply.  He corrected the problems promptly, and now my parents have plenty of water and it tastes and smells much better.  After dealing with Dave on this situation, I found him to be professional and very knowledgeable about all things water.
I would not hesitate to recommend Dave Garlock to anyone in need of installation or service of their water system.  His prices were quite a lot lower than the other company I checked,  and it was reassuring to deal directly with someone on such a personal level.
