Women at Work just finished our project, painting all of our 45+ year old wood kitchen cabinets and drawers. What a great experience from start to finish!! Julie and Barbara are professional, prompt and very knowledgeable. Along with the initial quote, we were advised of the entire process and how the cabinets would be treated/painted. When Julie came for the initial session of removing the cabinet doors, she reexplained the process again and offered valued suggestions to our questions; she's so friendly, as well as so knowledgeable of her profession! Their team who came to the house for several sessions were all professional and experienced, and also very friendly. They were neat, worked quietly, and there was no disruption for us in using the kitchen while the project was in process. The completed project is amazing, we have a brand new look with our new cabinets!! We highly recommend this team!!

Everyone was very professional and easy to work with. Julie made scheduling a breeze, they were even able to come a week ahead of schedule. They painted the entire 2nd floor of my cape cod along with a tall stairwell and completed the whole thing in a day. The ladies working were very nice and didn’t leave a trace of paint anywhere but the walls. Would definitely hire them again for any future projects!

It went well I’m very pleased with the work they did !! All of the workers and the two owners Barbara and Julie were very nice professional and accommodating I would recommend them to anyone who is thinking of getting any type of painting done in their house especially cupboards .it looks like a totally different kitchen without spending a lot of money putting new cupboards in

1. Team came in to remove doors. Each person new exactly what to do Doors were taken to the shop to be painted by a special process. We had one painter come to the house to paint cupboards. It did take a few days because the paint had to dry between coats. Each day he'd call and let is know when to expect him. He was very professional, an excellent painter and fast. At first we thought a couple of painters would come but he finished each coat easily One day he worked on a Saturday in order to save a day to get the cabinets back together. The day the doors arrived, typical process was followed. Cabinets hung quickly. The Cabinets are unbelievable. You couldn't tell they had been painted. A wonderful company to work with. There was a lot of positive energy and you could tell they liked their jobs. 2. Paint family room. We fell behind on our to do list and didn't have time to paint our family room. We called Julie and explained the situation. She came over that night with the painter and discussed what needed to be done. He arrived on time the next morning. He got started and just kept going. Now the walls and trim are done While he was painting he had a smile and enjoyed the work .He did a great job on the walls. I can't call any other company for painting when Women at Work has a great team of professional painters ready to do it right.

The whole process was as smooth as could be. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, professional and did exactly as they said they would. Even with our having to reschedule because of a delay with other work we were having done, they were easy to work with and very accommodating. I highly recommend Women at Work. Worst experience with “professionals” ever…. From an abundant lack of communication, to a lackluster job at painting, this whole situation makes me sick to my stomach. Painters were messy, inattentive, and overall, just slobs. Came home the first day to find toilets unflushed, with urine and hair on the seats, globs of “mud” on remote controls, floors, and blinds, and they had even done this terrible job of clean up by using our cleaning supplies and not their own. Barely primed surfaces and wanted to charge for extra coats of paint, left bleed through where they only did one coat of paint instead of two, skipped some areas altogether like sides of bannisters and the wall on the outside of our stairwell. Damaged the flooring on the 2nd floor landing with their ladder and blamed it on the poor quality work of an actual professional who installed it. Sloppy workmanship with edging at ceiling, window frames, outlets, and light switches. Actually painted ceiling in a room not on estimate, even though they had two copies of the work order as well as a physical copy on the kitchen counter for them if they had any questions. This list is by no means all inclusive.

It is unfortunate that you didn’t call back when the project was completed, given the chance we would have corrected anything you were not happy with. We discussed the job we were hiring for in its entirety, and we hired. The company painted the cabinets, then took on another job before they did the more complex piece of our project (the stairs), which I can only assume was a more profitable opportunity for them. When we inquired when they were going to finish, they said it would be over a month, as this other project was now going to take priority. We are now left high and dry, seeking help from another contractor. Terrible.

"Our original estimate included multiple projects initially the kitchen cabinets were the only project you wanted to start, at that time you decided to wait on your stairway project. We completed your kitchen cabinet painting as scheduled. . At that time you decided to go forward with your railing, in the meantime we scheduled other work . We never left you high and dry we could not accommodate your schedule, we gave you an alternative date unfortunately you were not able to work with it. We do our best when scheduling to accommodate all of our customers we appreciate your business and wish you all the best."

From start to finish the Women at Work crew were fantastic. ( there are some guys, too!) We were impressed with their speed and neatness, without too much disruption to our household. We are especially in love with our newly painted cupboards - I feel like I have a brand new kitchen! The next time we have a painting project I would not hesitate to call them.

This review is long overdue since my work was done about six months ago. The owner and her associate arrived promptly to develop a quote. Several days later, when I accepted the very fair quote, they confirmed paint colors & arranged a work schedule. They estimated the job would take two days; the work included any needed wall repair & two coats of paint. After my furniture was moved, I realized the baseboards needed paint, which wasn’t part of the original plan. They adjusted the quote & completed all the work in one day rather than two. When I noticed that the wall around a switch plate had not been repaired, the owner herself returned the following day to repair the wall, paint as needed & reinstall the plate. The women were pleasant, careful & professional. I expect to call them again to do some additional work.

I was very happy with every aspect of employing Women at Work. It took no longer than a week from my initial call to having a scheduled time. When Julie Brezee came over to do an estimate she asked lots of precise questions and also gave me some very good ideas that I ended up using. Her crew was great - very easy to work with, amazingly neat, and completely professional. The job went over two days; at the end of the first, they asked me to look around very carefully and to let them know if I saw anything at all that I thought needed improved or retouched. On the second day, they very willingly touched up a couple of places that I hadn't given good instructions about. At the end of the second day, before they left, the supervisor, Joe, took me on an unhurried walk-through to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. I was totally satisfied with their work and their cleanup was impeccable. I would definitely recommend them and I intend to hire them again.

Women at Work did an exceptional job painting my foyer, stairwell, upstairs and downstairs hallways, bathroom, and more. The walls were old, cracked, and covered with glue from wallpaper I had removed. Women at Work came in and fully prepped and painted all of the walls, ceiling, and trim. They were incredibly professional and clean, and the final product is GORGEOUS! I plan on hiring them again in the near future to help with other areas of my home. I HIGHLY recommend this company without reservation. This was not an easy or simple job and Women at Work exceeded my expectations.
