A few days after the job was purportedly complete and paid for, I moved the piles of dirt and wood chips from around the holes left after the stump grinding. I discovered that the holes were not where the stumps had been, but rather they were ADJACENT to the incompletely ground stumps, and that the debris piles had been masking what remained of the stumps. I then dug a bit around 6 of the 7 stumps and determined that each still reached within about 2 inches of ground level or higher in one or more places. A verbal commitment and written contract promised 12 inches. Oscar Engracia will not return to finish job and will not take my calls.
