Carey's Cleaning Service

I was told it would only take four days to do and it would cost me original price was 950.00 dollars plus materials they were suppose to start on monday and never showed up until Wednesday. WHich half was paid to them. the first day went ok. I was not able to be there until the end of the day. they had taken the paneling down and did the bathroom . When discussing the work the contractor freely went into my refrigerator and took a swig of whiskey and put it back in the refrig with out asking. When the paneling was down he had a spackler person come over and do the bathroom only to find out the next day that he was never paid for his services and tried to get money out of me which I did not pay to the spackler. The contractor then told me he would slim coat the walls for 400.00 for all rooms and I was under the impression he was having the spackler do it . when I came home all that was done was holes were filled and NO slim coat was ever done I confronted him on this. He said that he was just patching the holes and that was slim coating and what he forgot to do was also cover the whole couch. When I got home half of the couch was covered in plaster dust and he was using my fans to blow it all around where as he didn't put up a barrier between the dining room and Kitchen. the whole kitchen was covered in white powder . My dining room table and chairs were put outside and he didnt bring them in when I I went out later that night to get them I went to pick it up and a pick of the table came apart. He broke the table and never said a word I called him right away and and he stated that it was already broke what he didn't know was the table wasn't used at all . Later during the process he had broken a chair. Since his sign states he is fully insured on his van. he refused to go thought them because he said that the table wasn't worth that much and wanted to take me to his dads shop and pick out a new one. then he only wanted to give me 20 dollars for the table and he would give me a discount on one of his dads used tables. I very sharply declined and he would not go through the insured. His father has a used furniture and novelty shop and they were very old tables very cheap. In the bathroom the walls were never sanded. and they painted over it leaving a rough surface on the walls and some gouges in the wall. when all was done. I just wanted him out of my house . he was not going to replace the molding because he said it would cost extra and only when I show him the contract did he replace them. That part they did a good job. I was happy to get them out of the house
