Update- I used Sal again and was again very happy with the quality of his work and also his work ethic. The socket in my bathroom was getting dangerously loose (it's placed right over the sink). It is also the only one in the room, so is used continuously for blowdryers, flat irons, waterpiks, etc. I called Sal and he actually answered the phone even through he was in the hospital! I felt terrible and said we could talk when he was feeling better, but he insisted I tell him what the problem was. He called me back a week later and came 2 days after that. It turned out the previous owner/electrician had done a terrible job with the socket holder behind the wall, so Sal replaced the piece and then further reinforced it. It doesn't budge now when we use the socket. I definitely recommend Sal and will not hesitate to use him again in the future!

It is so hard to find a good electrician who is reliable, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. I finally found that electrician when I hired Sal of AVS Electric. I had a number of loose sockets throughout the house and a basement light fixture that needed to be replaced and secured. Sal scheduled a first visit just to go through my whole house with me and identify and prioritize what needed to be done. Then he came back with his son a week later to do the actual work. In addition to the above items, one of my security cameras wasn’t working anymore and he promptly figured out what was wrong and fixed it. He and his son worked quickly and efficiently, and were done in less time than he had originally estimated. His pricing was very fair for both the parts and the labor. I definitely plan to use Sal for any future electric work I need done, especially now that he is familiar with my house.

Sal did a superb job! He worked diligently to work out various issues during wiring. The work took a lot time than the original estimate and he didn't blink. His work quality, follow-up and professionalism were very impressive and of highest standard I have seen in anyone. He did whatever it took to get the job done and in the right manner. Sal is very knowledgeable in his field and made the correct recommendations for replacing some faulty fuses. Overall his work ethics are top notch and extraordinary. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Sal to anyone!

The breakers kept popping, and I saw sparks coming from my main panel. He came out and fixed what he could, so he didn't have to cut power to the house. He ended up replacing the whole panel for us. It did take some time, because he works a regular job, and had to order parts, but he did great work. When he came back to replace the panel, my fan went out. He came back to replace the fan, and I asked him to replace my bathroom fixture too. I just had to pick up the new fan and bathroom fixtures for him. His prices were very reasonable and I plan on having him back.

Sal & Anthony were professional, respectful and extremely thoughtful! Sal explained what he would be doing step by step, while his son Anthony efficiently worked along side him. He took great care in completing the work. He wasn't our cheapest estimate but he also wasn't our most expensive. It's something about when you meet him that makes you trust he cares greatly about the quality of his work and your happiness with it. Glad we chose him!

Overall A good job was done. There were some communication issues but the job was done nicely and works well so I am happy.

Sal was able to address the specific issue and improve the overall wiring situation. Throughout the troubleshooting and correction process he provided updates and did the "right thing" instead of just making a repair. He took the time to fully address the situation and improve the wiring. He provided insight into another situation that can be addressed without requiring an additional visit. He was very pleasant to deal with.

Nicest guy in the world family business extremely honest, professional and knows what he is doing. Hard working was at the house until almost midnight on a Friday to finish the job

They did not want to do something that I asked them to do because it wasn’t going to get code. He made sure he wasn’t going to give me spotty work. He was very honest. I had him back out and he did it correctly.

Sal was extremely professional, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I live in a house with old wiring and he helped me figure out which upgrades were feasible and safe and worthwhile from a cost perspective. His pricing was extremely reasonable and I plan to call him again for any electrical needs in the future and recommend him to friends. After paying an arm and leg to other electricians in the past it is extremely refreshing to find one that is honest and looking out for the customers best interest and I hope his business will continue to grow.
