Rich is SO SO SO good - and loves what he does too!
He was prompt, courteous AND knowledgeable. Was able to respond QUICKLY to our request and turned the inspection around in I think less than 48 hours?!? We were pressed for time with regard to the contract signing and Rich accommodated like a TRUE professional. He also spent far more time than expected at the home, and went over each and EVERY detail with us. He asked us questions as we went along and even provided insight about what we might want to consider down the road by way of changes/renovations, etc. He also gave us a little tutorial about the hot water heater, which was very helpful for first-time homebuyers.
I felt like I was in GREAT hands with Rich and I'm really glad our paths crossed. He came recommended by an attorney AND a real estate agent (with no affiliation) and we picked him off a list after doing a little research - I think we got VERY lucky and I would recommend him to any one, any time.

Rich was extremely professional, arriving on time and well prepared. He is also thorough, going through every inch of the house and explaining things in non-technical terms that my wife and I could understand. He even went up onto the top roof of the house, which very few inspectors to (much to my surprise and the surprise of the selling agent) and found that a section of the roof was in need of replacement.
Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend Rich's services to anyone looking for a quality home inspection and peace of mind.

I had called Rich several time to arrange a home inspection but either canceled on him due to backing out of a deal, or lack of availability on the homeowners part. Every time I spoke with him, he said he would do what he had to do to make it work with all of our schedules. Rich arrived 30 minutes before he was expected on a cold, rainy and generally nasty day. He had spoken to the homeowner and began his inspection before I even arrived. He went over with me everything he had already done, and took the time to show me anything he spotted. He went about his business and answered all of my questions, even ones that didn't really pertain to the inspection, but homes in general. He was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of home repair and codes of the town. Upon receiving his report, I realized that in addition to the 15 pages of report, there were over 30 more including pictures, diagrams and suggestions on how to do your own repairs. I highly recommend KB inspections to anyone who wants to feel safe in having a thorough inspection
