Vincent Giordano failed at every level of this project. He described himself as a seasoned veteran of virtually every heating technology. He failed to inform us (until well into the project) he was not familiar with either the system or the technology, thus using this project as his "training project". Vincent Giordano failed to get the system fully operational by mid - December, 2010, when he left for his month-long Florida vacation. Upon his return, he left me voice messages, itemizing personal crisis after personal crisis as reasons why he could not return to complete the project. As yet another reason he could not fulfill his obligations, Mr. Giordano stated the technical rep for the furnace manufacturer was unwilling to help him with the system problems, and would not return his phone calls. This same technical rep returned my phone calls, and was very helpful and supportive. Company technical reps were available via phone as well. Mr. Giordano failed to seek their help. Vincent Giordano never completed this project and never returned to the scene of the crime. He took the money and ran, leaving my family in limbo with a dysfunctional heat and hot water system... for 2 months! Mr. Giordano left me with no option but to bring in another contractor (at a great expense) to remedy the problems Vincent both created and contributed to. Upon learning a competitor had evaluated the problems, Mr. Giordano declared he was legally absolved from any responsibility to complete his work. Vincent Giordano failed at every level of this project. He failed to communicate, to listen, to execute, to complete the job. In my experience, as well as the [ hindsight ] experience of several grape-vine aquaintances, anyone would be TOTALY NUTS to hire this con artist for any job.
