C & C PAINTERS & DECORATORS

We contracted with Mr. Willy Coston owner of C & C Painters & Decorators based in Kerhonkson, NY to paint our home, shed and new garage and to take care of the snow removal during the winter of 2006-2007. We paid Mr. Coston up front for the snow removal with a written agreement that any unused funds would be returned to us at the end of the season. By the end of the 2007 winter a refund of $715 was due to us. This never happened despite many calls and registered letters. We went to small claims court where a judgment was rendered in our favor. Of course the account at the bank had been closed, making it impossible to recover the money due. In addition to losing the $715 plus costs, the paint job was consistent with his snow clearing lousy. The prep work was inadequate and he used the wrong products for some of the work. Willie is very good at making promises but extremely poor at keeping them. I would suggest that you avoid Willie Coston and C & C Painters & Decorators at all costs.
