The project went very well. When we initially had to put the remodel on hold for a while due to a medical issue in our family, Joel worked with us to get it rescheduled. Everything was explained very well up front, making it easier in that we could get all the fixtures, vanity, etc. in place before the actual work started. It was a full gut to the studs. The remodel took two weeks, during which the crew showed up timely each day. They were great! We are extremely happy with the new bath.

Hiring Sullivan Interiors was the best decision we ever made. Joel and his team are highly professional, skilled craftsmen who handled each challenge they encountered in our very old home with ease. The quality of the work is amazing and they truly transformed our home. We would highly recommend them for any project.

Joel accurately assessed the true problem and his team fixed the problem perfectly (in two months since the repair there haven’t been any leaks). Additionally his team replaced all the marble tile because it was not installed as perfectly as we would have preferred. The tile work is outstanding. We had three contractors provide a solution and quote, Joel was the most thorough and the middle price. We had no problem waiting for the work to begin b cause we had such confidence from the outset he and his team would finally solve the problem, understanding that great contractors are in high demand.

Our family loved working with Joel and his team, and we can't recommend him highly enough. From the very beginning of our discussions, Joel showed great care and patience in talking through our options and plans for our project. His responsiveness was truly fantastic. Whenever we had a question, Joel would immediately respond, days/nights, weekdays/weekends. On to the project itself. Joel took great care in making things as easy on us as possible, and arranging for everything needed. (Temporary bathroom facilities, working around our schedules). Joel and his team obviously take great pride in their work, and it shows in the results of our project. During the course of the project, we threw a couple of curveballs at Joel with a couple of design changes, and he handled it perfectly. We would have a quick brainstorm, and his team took care of the changes. To sum up, our family is overjoyed with our new bathroom, and our experience with Joel and his company was fantastic. Call him!

I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to find a company who is as professional and thorough as Sullivan Interior Finishing. Joel's crew (Derek, Karl and Kevin) did amazing work. They all paid attention to the detail and craftsmanship in installing the cabinets, tiling and plumbing. I was also impressed by Joel getting back to me as quickly as he did when I had any questions about the work or schedule. He even had Derek come back the same day I called him to corrected a problem with the height of the stove which was not installed properly by the appliance company. Joel went above and beyond to complete a job even if it was not his responsibility or error. I would recommend him and his crew without hesitation and plan on calling him back this fall to work on another job.

I was most impressed with how professional the business was. They held to the time frame I was quoted initially, prompt in arriving each day and left the room clean at the end of the day. Throughout the process they kept contact to clarify details. Following completion of the work I was contacted to ask if I was satisfied. Further more I was assured that if I needed any adjustments made they would return. I am so happy with the work and professionalism of this company that I would call them again for other work and would recommend them without hesitation.

Sullivan Interiors is awesome. They did our kitchen in the Spring of 2016. They did such an incredible job with that, we had them do our bathroom remodel. I trust these guys so much, we left them in our house while we were away on our honeymoon for two weeks. Joel kept us up to date and we trusted them completely.

Super! Joel gave us great recommendations to get the look we wanted to get our parent's home ready to sell without breaking the budget . The quote was very detailed.Joel gave us the option to paint it ourselves which saved money and also we bought our own fixtures instead of paying a mark up . Polite, professional and super helpful all the way , as was the crew . The work turned out beautifully. We couldn't be happier !

Joel and all of his crew members were extremely friendly and professional. They showed up everyday on time and ready to tackle the day's to-do list. Joel was excellent at making sure we were aware of what was going to happen and when. He made himself available for (daily) questions and concerns. When we were planning the renovation he also helped set us up with a contact at Kitchen World to pick out our cabinets. All of the work was impeccable including the extensive work required to sand, repair and paint the original built in cabinets. Joel is a true craftsman which was evident in all the trim work he recreated after removing the wall to open up the kitchen to the dining room. Everything was done timely, but more importantly, done well. Not being a handy person, Joel was able to make sure all of the details necessary for us to have a beautiful kitchen were taken care of. They coordinated the delivery of our cabinets and worked with the granite company when there was a problem with the installation. Not having to be the middle man between contractor and material suppliers made the renovation go smoothly and stay on track. Overall we are 100% pleased with the work they did. The kitchen is so much more functional and enjoyable. We cannot wait to have Joel and crew back to do our bathroom in a couple years!

Joel was amazing to work with - always got back to me in a timely fashion and was very courteous as well. His crew came when they said they would and finished when they said they'd be done. The people who work for him were also very courteous, and did beautiful work.  The house was always cleaned up before they left.  I was away for part of the job and asked for daily photos so I can see the progress.  The photos came daily - so impressed!  The bathroom they gutted was over 40 years old and we are so happy with the work they did. As we had questions, Joel always took the time to answer them for us - as if these questions were the most important thing - he was never rushed.  I recommend his company very highly and will definitely be using him in the future.

Having done family and rec rooms, we have an eye for and appreciate fine quality workmanship. As age increases however, patience and abilities decline. Joel Sullivan not only advised but provided us with extremely skilled craftsmen and superior vendors in remodeling our master bathroom. Everything is done top notch! Joel was the first contractor we interviewed when we decided to remodel our bathroom. His explanation and attention to detail are excellent. Within a short time, we knew that he was the one we wanted to work with. Joel's price was fair and comprable with two other contractors. What we liked about him, was that he listened to us and didn't try to talk us into something we didn't want to do. Joel informed us that it would be a while before he could get to us as he was booked. Definitely is worth the wait! We met Joel in May and the work was started in late October and completed within the 2 week time period promised. Actually, we were quite happy to have ample time to pick out tile, cabinetry, bathroom hardware and plumbing accessories. We are not people who like to be rushed. Joel advised us along the way on plumbing choices and saved us money which was greatly appreciated. Each morning when he arrived, Joel would ask if we had any questions. At the end of each day, Joel would tell us what to expect the next day. Communication was always excellent be it phone, text, email or in person. Additionally, Joel and his crew were always punctual and extremely neat. Derrick and Kevin part of his crew, are excellent and meticulous when it comes to tilework as is Joel himself. Since completing our bathroom, we have recommended Joel to fellow neighbors who are interested in having work done. They too have decided that he is the contractor for them as well. We will continue to sing his praises and will look forward to working with Joel again on future projects!

The completed shower project was incredible and the attention to detail shows in their work. Joel and Derek did a great job managing the project and they were very professional. Everything was kept clean / neat during installation and communication was excellent. I would definitely use them again for future projects and strongly recommend to others.

I was anxious to get the work done so that we could put the house on the market as soon as possible. Joel was booked pretty solid, but he was able to send over two guys for four days over the course of two weeks. I was really happy that he was able to work us into his schedule despite how busy he was. Joel contacted me after the first day of work to see how things went. I had no complaints with the workmanship, which I would describe as very good. I have hired many different contractors and none of them even come close to the quality of communication I received from Sullivan Interior Finishing. I could call or email Joel anytime and get a quick response and he always wanted to make sure that I was satisfied with the work throughout the entire process. I found the estimate to be very thorough, with each task itemized so you can can easily decide what things to do now and what things to skip. I also found the pricing very reasonable. I got estimates from two other contractors, both of which had good reviews on Angie's List. We ended up not doing everything on the estimates because we didn't think we'd get our money back, but for comparison the others estimates were $50,000 (not a typo) and $20,000. Joel came in at $8,000. Considering how smooth the process was and the qualify of the work, I think we got more than our money's worth.

Last year Sullivan remodeled our kitchen right down to the studs, and we were so pleased we contracted them for this project too. All their workmanship has been of excellent quality. Joel and his crew are consistently prompt, polite, diligent, and meticulous. Communication is also excellent - calls are returned promptly, every effort is made to accommodate the owners' vision, their advice and suggestions are creative and useful. We could not be more pleased.

Beyond excellent. Joel and his staff were amazing. Ahead of the start of construction, Joel made sure all the materials were ordered and ready. They minimized disruption to our family life, and were meticulous about keeping everything clean. For part of the rehab, we left on vacation and felt perfectly comfortable knowing they were working in our home. Joel updated us daily with photos by email and called with any questions when necessary. The rebuilt shower is my personal favorite. Joel figured out how to borrow space from our hall closet to change the shower from cramped (elbows hitting the wall) and uncomfortable to luxurious, and still left us with a smaller but very completely functional hall closet. We chose Joel because we had seen his previous excellent reviews on Angie's list, and even though one of our old shower floors had failed and was unusable, we waited 6 months for him to have an opening in his schedule, just because his reviews were so great. He went way beyond our expectations, and we will definitely use him again in the future.

This was the second job that we hired Joel and his crew to do: The first was a bathroom remodel in 2014, and that was such a positive experience for us that we had zero hesitation asking Joel to do our kitchen remodel as well. Like the bathroom, this was a full demolition, down to the studs, and a rebuild from scratch. We used Homecrest cabinets, Cambria synthetic quartz countertops, and Armstrong luxury vinyl floors, and installed an externally vented range hood. All were installed with precision and impressive attention to detail. Unusual items on this job were a Fisher-Paykel drawer dishwasher, which required custom cabinet work, and a backsplash made with hand-made tile imported from Spain. The tile is not only expensive, but it's difficult to deal with, since every tile is slightly different from every other tile. I'm pretty sure that a contractor of lesser skill would have been entirely unable to deal with the installation, but Derek's tilework was flawless, and made the space extraordinary. (We especially appreciated Karl's inventive and artistic touches with the paint! ) The work crew, led by Derek, was unfailingly punctual, neat, and polite. We really appreciated the lack of cigarette smoke of any kind, even in the yard. We had no qualms about leaving Derek with a house key and leaving town for a week while construction was underway, and we were not disappointed: the crew acted with perfect responsibility at all times. Sullivan Interior Finishing is highly recommended. No, they're not cheap, but you get every bit of what you pay for.

Joel and his crew were excellent. From the first time I met Joel, I knew that he was the one I wanted to remodel my bath. He was professional, clean-cut, and polite. He gave me a very fair price, and we were put on his schedule. The job was performed in a timely manner, according to his estimate. I could not be more pleased with him and his crew. I felt comfortable enough with him and his people, that I gave them a key to my house and a security code to gain access so they could work while we were away on a family vacation. The quality of his workmanship was excellent. He was great with follow-up, making sure that I was pleased even after several months passed. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who asked for a reference. 2 Thumbs up!

Both projects went very well and we couldn't be more pleased that we hired Joel to do the work. He is very attentive to the details, makes sure you are pleased with everything as the work progresses, and allowed us to select the things we wanted to use. All of the workmanship was of high quality. Both rooms look terrific. This is an older home and Joel has lots of experience with renovating them and all the issues that come up. We always felt our projects were in good hands. He is very busy so you'll need to book well in advance of your project, but he and his crew are worth the wait. They all worked really well together, were efficient, polite, and listened to the homeowners ideas. You couldn't ask for better contractors. I would absolutely use them again for future projects.

It went very well, he is a true craftsman. We have already made plans for him to return for additional work in the future.
