First off let me say these guys are great.  
I have a lake cottage with a well.  Over this winter my pump and very old and bad water filtration system were destroyed via freezing, age and me not knowing all of the steps to shut them down.
North East water came out, gave me a quote quickly for a superb water filtration system and with a great price for the install.  
Their product removed all the iron and sulfur smell from my water which has plagued us at the cabin for the past 35 years.  I now have clean, clear water and a filtration system that does not require filters, chemicals or maintenance.
If that was it that would be enough but I have to say that these guys were wonderful.  I needed some more work done on the house and they were able to replace a toilet, run a connection for an outside hose and repair several pipes.  All of their prices were great and they were always on time, worked hard and fast and did superb work.  I can't say how pleased i was.
Now the icing on the cake for me is that they will come out this fall and walk me through step by step shutting down the cottage, making sure nothing freezes and allow me to document it all (I'm going to make a laminated book!)
In short if you are looking for great, professional and cost effective people to install a water filtration system please use these guys.

I called and spoke with Michele and explained my issues. She was not sure they could get to us that week (they are located near Batavia), but called me back after 20 minutes to set up a home visit. Dan happened to be in Syracuse one day that week, so we made an appointment for the 15th. Dan tested our water, explained the system we have in the house currently, and soon deducted that our boiler system had been serviced about the same time that the problem began. As it turned out, the Anode rod that was put in our water heater was the wrong type, and was causing the iron to pull from the water and caused the smell. Once we removed the anode rod, the smell went away and the iron problems diminished almost immediately. We did change to resin guard salt pellets to help the softener system stay clean. We hadn't had our system serviced in many years since the previous distributor stopped supporting Ionics. Fortunately we found Northeast Water. I called on Thursday to just get some information about the company and the service. The lady that answered the phone was very helpful and accommodating to our schedule. They were able to schedule a service call the next day even though we were an hour away from their location. Todd called when he was 10 minutes out and showed up right on time. He was very professional and took his time explaining the system and exactly what he was doing. He even gave use some informative "tips" on things to check in the future that would save us from calling service. He tested the water before the service making sure to show us the results and again explaining everything every step of the way. He closed with informing us on where the best/least expensive place to buy softener salt would be. The service was completed within an hour. Todd's level of customer service and professionalism was outstanding. I would not hesitate in calling them back in the future.

Todd was our service tech. He was awesome and took the time to explain what he was doing. He called to let me know that he would be a little late. He asked if that was still going to be all right and apologized for the delay. When he arrived he was very professional and tested our water first. He took his time to explain what he would be doing and I didn't feel that he was rushing even though I was his last appointment of the day. I highly recommend this company and especially Todd Hart.

It went very well. I have been very pleased with this company. The one employee we have dealt with the most is"Todd" and he pleasant, considerate, professional and cleans up after himself. We have used this company several times, will continue to use this company and will urge others to use this company.
