We have called Cross Brothers for all our plumbing needs over the years including water heater replacement and garbage disposal replacement (on Thanksgiving Day!) . They are ALWAYS very responsive, friendly, professional, efficient, reasonably priced and do quality work! We don't use anyone else and highly recommend them!

Fast and fairly priced as always. No reason to go elsewhere.

The plumber came right on time, looked it over, gave me the price first, and was ready to do the job. Since they had the best price than their competitors, I let him start. He finished within a couple hours. He'd have finished sooner, but had to drill a new hole into our concrete because our old one was closed off. He did great. He was really nice and explained what he was going to do and why. Thank you. Will hire again!

Cross returned to adjust the handle problem on a toilet repair, installed a new handle of the Koehler brand, and now it works! Yay! And thanks for solving this issue.

Service was great. However, the toilet is temperamental about flushing. The handle usually needs to be pushed 2 times.

They responded timely, determined the needed cartridge (there were no markings on the outside of the faucet to indicate the brand, but they determined it was a Moen cartridge after removing the old cartridge), replaced the cartridge (which they had in their truck). Repair was done quickly and the faucet no longer leaks. I thought the cartridge was a bit expensive, but that's Moen, not Cross Bros.

This is a problem I had before so it was convenient that Cross Brothers had the records to review what had happened before because the person who did the work the last time had retired. Transfer of information helped them understand how to go about fixing the problem.

First thing they did was have the contractor, Tim, scheduled. He came over and opened up the soffit. Tim then spent A LOT of time talking to Jeff of Cross Brothers on the phone, explaining what he saw and what kind of options he thought might work to fix it. They have obviously worked together in the past. So once Jeff arrived he knew a lot about the problem and promptly went to work to fix it.

I know next to zero about plumbing but this appeared to me to be a complex job and they did it well. Joyce handles the office and scheduling and she is first rate, very professional and organized. On this particular job, Jeff, and everyone I have had from Cross Brothers have been nothing but professional and their work is excellent. As I said, I know zip about plumbing so it it very comforting to know there is a company like Cross Brothers who are there to take care of problems you can't fix yourself in a timely, professional and thorough job. Thank you Cross Brothers.

It could NOT have gone BETTER ! You get what you pay for in this situation believe me. The men left the premises as they found it. The basement floor had to be removed over the restriction and the pipe entered at that point. A brass flapper had broken away from its mooring points and was lodged in the pipe under the floor beyond the valve housing which originally contained it. This flapper was retrieved and the line was sealed . The toilet was removed and replaced with a very nice low water usage unit which works very well. After the men left I ran the vacuum cleaner over the floor just for exercise as they had already done that !

Arrived when expected. Left everything clean. I would definitely call them for other plumbing issues. I have recommended them to a friend.

The woman who answered the phone was very friendly. The plumber arrived the same day. He was professional and courteous. We were very satisfied with the job that was completed!

How did it go? Snowiest day of the winter and they were here on time. Perhaps it was the weather but they were both kind of grouchy. Demanded to see livingroom ceiling before fixing the bathroom tap which was my main concern as it had been running continuously for several days and it took, not counting the weekend, 3 business days for them to get here following my call on a friday afternoon once I discovered that DIY was not going to work for me this time.  I will probably see this reflected in my next water bill. He did diagnose the ceiling leak, shower door problems, but since I had already caulked the tub myself (love Ace Hardware) and put in a new shower curtain liner, the ceiling is drying up nicely. However he told me that I would probably have to have a major bathroom renovation complete with knocking down walls, the ceiling, all the bathroom fixtures and replacing the old lead pipes and putting in a sewer gas trap and that NOW was the best time to do it. Frankly he scared me to death. Felt pressured to do it NOW. I have another bathroom, same pipes, same amount of use over the years, no problems. So now, I am wondering if this was a sales pitch for work or ? I am happy the tap was fixed. I am happy the work I did has fixed the ceiling leak apparently. But I will be looking for a second opinion for the renovation work in future.

I was running a tad behind but Jeremiah met me at the house on time. He was super friendly and personable, even saved me from a giant killer spider of death (it was actually a small spider, I'm a wuss). Everything went smoothly and all parts were replaced or fixed as asked. He finished the work pretty quickly and chatted for a few about the house and future work. Would definitely hire again, no question.
