And in the interim, I've discovered a variety of examples of incompetent construction, including: Poorly patched gas pipe openings in the basement, leading to water seepage. Bedroom doors that do not properly close. Rusted, mis-aligned, and non functioning baseboard heating units. Cabinet doors installed backwards. This does not include the 'punch list' work that was promised to be finished, including repairing some brick and stucco. Repeated calls to the company to get the work finished and use my so-called 'warranty' have been met with mostly unanswered phone calls and the occasional unfulfilled promise to 'send someone over'...which of course never happens.
Description of Work: Graff Homes builds new homes throughout Brooklyn and Queens. I bought a brand-new 3 family home from them. I closed on this house with work still to be finished, and regrettably (stupidly, in fact), I had the developer put money in escrow until the work was finished. It is approaching two months (well past their 'due date' to complete the work) and they have done virtually none of it.
