F.Montero Home Service

I accessed Angie s list for a licensed plumber and came across F. Montero Home Service. He said plastic fittings are the best but later I was to find out it was against NewYork City Building Code for Multi-dwelling Housing. I am in a six story coop and plastic piping is not permitted. I would assume that a licensed plumber would know this. The first installing of the piping was not complete because there was still leakage in the pipe against the wall. They had to come back and rectify that. Some of the back wall has also been removed leaving a gapping hole. I asked him if he was licensed since he said the code they were referring to was outdated. I asked for a copy and he never responde. When asked about being licensed ended he said he wasn t but can get me a licensed plumber at a cost of $1000. He said that is what a licensed plumber would cost. He charged $350 for plastic piping and $300 to fix a light in the dining room. On his bill , he has a number that looked like a license number or I assumed to be. He now says he would charge just for material $250 and replace with the appropriate piping although he said they no longer sell that at Home Depot and is outdated Fix a light in dining

This pro was on time, talked me through what was wrong and what needed to be done, and when he had to step out to get a replacement part, he came back quick and finished the job in a timely manner. Would recommend and would definitely fall this pro again should I need help in the future
