In June 2014 my car overheated.  I had AAA tow it to Arm auto.  They replaced the thermostat and other parts $247.  He overheated several days later and they then told me the gaskets and intake manifold needed to also be replace $374.  When the car continued to overheat it was the plugs that needed to be replace $310.  However, the car continued to overheat.  One time I left the garage and did not make it home, 15 minute drive when it overheated.  The car was repeatedly towed or driven to garage.  This was all under warranty for the work I had paid for.  I was told the overheating was the result of defective parts which they replaced.
Then Mark informed me the head gasket had blown as a result of the continuous overheating.   He used a chemical sealer to seal the head gasket.
June 2015 the engine sporadically made noise. I brought it in and they replaced the radiator fan motor for $174.  Six days later the car again overheated.  It was towed to the garage where I was informed the fan wasn't working.  The following day I was called and told because the head gasket had been blown I needed a new engine for about $1600.
I had the car towed to another garage.  The intake manifold and gaskets were never installed.  The plugs were not properly installed which is why the car leaked antifreeze. The cost to repair damage for incompetent work $1700.  The radiator was the cause of the overheating.

ARM Auto Service Inc do quality work. They don't overcharge you. If you pay in cash, they waive all taxes. They're focused on doing the work and not doing unnecessary stuff. They're very straightforward and honest. That's really difficult to find in a mechanic.

He is my mechanic back in New York City. I've been doing business with him for 10 to 12 years now. I've had times where I went to him and I was expecting that there was something more major wrong with my car. It would then turn out to be something he could fix for a minimal amount. I have a lot of trust in this mechanic.
