This place was very disappointing, and I would recommend avoiding them at all costs. Mo initially confirmed a 5:00 PM appointment to move a piano, then later said they were running late and would arrive between 7 and 8 PM. Then, for no reason, they completely ghosted us, leaving more than two families waiting all day. How they treat customers is appalling and unprofessional. They not only lack proper planning (running late) but also communication skills. I called dozen times but received no response or return calls. Would just ghosts texts. I also called Nate, who claims he doesn't know where Mo is. What a joke

I recently had the misfortune of entrusting my belongings to A-Team Movers, and the experience was nothing short of a moving nightmare compounded by an unfortunate circumstance that necessitated the move. If you're considering hiring them for your next move, I strongly advise against it, unless you have a penchant for damaged property, missing items, and a healthy dose of frustration. From the very beginning, the signs were ominous. One of the owners, Nate, abruptly stopped all communication two days before the scheduled move date. His business partner, Mo, had to intervene so the move would happen. They offered half-hearted apologies that did little to alleviate the mounting stress of moving day. However, the real nightmare unfolded when I began to unpack at my new home. Countless items bore the scars of A-Team Movers' carelessness, as if they had been thrown into the back of the truck with reckless abandon by unskilled movers. It was very apparent that the guys were not professional movers with training, but rather random guys hired as strong men capable of lifting and moving heavy things. Fragile items were treated with the delicacy of a wrecking ball. Glassware was shattered, upholstered furniture was not wrapped to protect the fabric, the round dining room table was scratched as if it had been rolled on the side, and the tape that held the boxes together had unidentifiable gray-looking bugs stuck to the tape â all casualties of the supposed professionals at A-Team Movers. To add insult to injury, a significant portion of my possessions mysteriously disappeared during the move. It's as if A-Team Movers operated in a parallel universe where the laws of physics dictated that personal belongings could simply vanish into thin air. My Christmas decorations (containing sentimental ornaments collected over 8 years from the moment my children were born) were missing including my Christmas tree and a random tree was given to me in a black bag that did not belong to me. To bring my king bed through my front door, the movers disassembled it but once they brought it into my master bedroom, they placed the screws in a bag on my nightstand! My vanity table had missing knobs. My daughterâ s 4-foot wooden doll house was missing. The worse part was my missing file cabinet that contained my Harvard and Cornell diplomas, my passport, my birth certificate, and paperwork for my company. When I attempted to address this issue with co-owner Mo, I was met with indifference and a complete lack of accountability. He later had a change of heart and admitted they would make it right. The communication breakdown was another glaring issue. Calls went unanswered, and when I did manage to get through, the Mo was shockingly unhelpful and dismissive. It was as if they were reading from a script of excuses rather than attempting to rectify the egregious errors made by their team. Even attempts to get another moving company to help me move my things from storage was not successful because Mo didnâ t answer my calls or texts. My family and I moved into our new home on October 16 and we didnâ t receive our property (at least what we received) until November 4!!! I have never encountered a moving company so utterly incompetent and disdainful of their customers. The A-Team Movers is an unfortunate stain on the industry, and I implore anyone considering their services to steer clear unless you want your moving day to turn into a moving disaster. In conclusion, my experience with the A-Team Movers was a lesson in how not to run a moving business. If you value your possessions and sanity, I strongly advise against entrusting them with your move. There are plenty of reputable moving companies out there â A-Team Movers is certainly not one of them.

Nate was amazing from the start with the estimate, details, and planning. His team Moe (and two other guys) moved my 103 years old Steinway grand piano and the rest of my belongings from Rochester NY to Hampton VA. The whole process was smooth and easy. The team members were extremely gentle, professional with my piano. They were also super friendly and accommodating! They moved everything in one day and dropped off everything the next morning! They were also super efficient. I can’t recommend this moving company enough! :) 10000% recommend!
