Their prices are absolutely outrageous. We were quoted almost 2 grand (I am not kidding) for a brake job. I can't recall all the details now since it has been a couple of years or so, but that was the last straw. We went elsewhere and paid about $500-600 for the work and it was absolutely fine. I mean $2000.00??!! There wasn't even anything seriously wrong with the car or that needed a lot of diagnostics. We were stunned. We had a couple of other poor experiences there previously, so that was that. Never went back.

dealers gave me plenty of attention, information, test driving, etc. whether I was going to choose between a recent-model used car or a new car. since I always preferred manual shift, but had to consider an automatic because of a knee injury, one dealer explained continuously variable transmission to me very thoroughly. because that was a new option (only 2 model years old), it made all the difference in my car selection. I was only disappointed by the evaluation of my previous car for trade-in, but they improved the warrantee arrangement to help compensate for that somewhat. The new car arrived very promptly, as promised.

The body shop entrance is conveniently located behind the main Maguire automotive sales/service building on 370 Elmira Rd. Initially, I made an appointment for an estimate and the estimate only took about 15-20 minutes. The estimator explained what the job entailed and the way they would go about making the repairs and painting. The job was estimated to take 7 days but the estimator was confident they could finish it in 5 days. I received the estimate via email later that afternoon. The estimate was fully covered by insurance. I dropped the car off on Monday and on Friday afternoon I got a phone call saying my car was ready but they owed me some kind of a clear protector. So, after 5 days, I I picked up my car as scheduled and I was pleased with the way the the body work turned out. The only thing I needed to do was return to the body shop at my convenience for about 30 minutes to have a clear door protector applied. I called them a few days later and informed them of my plan to stop by to get the clear door protector at a time that was convenient for me. I returned to the body shop at the time I had chosen and only waited about 30 minutes as expected. The staff was friendly and helpful and they performed the work to my satisfaction within the expected time frame.

I have had 4 Toyota's and I use McGuire for service when the warranty requires it. I have had a good experience with McGuire Toyota but feel the prices are high due to the fact they are part of the Toyota Dealership. It is convenient to leave my car in the morning and pick it up at the end of the day. I do like the fact that they have a courtesy bus that will take you to work and back to the Service Dept. If one decides to wait for their vehicle, the waiting room is comfortable. The work done has been satisfactory. The employees are pleasant but very busy and sometimes I feel rushed.

I have always been pleased with the work provided. They have a large service team so they are able to schedule the appointment to my needs. They provide pick-up and drop off service and just remodeled the waiting area. It is totally comfortable and clean. The service managers work quickly and don't waste time getting you in and out. They are helpful and always polite. We just recently moved and I have to admit that I am reluctant to use another dealer for service. I will probably find a way to schedule my service appointments when i am back in town visiting friends!

Brought the car back to McGuire to have them replace the CV Joint and quot;bootsand quot; they did not have the parts on stock and told me that they will call me, I asked to make sure they had the right number to call, as I changed number and this was the third time I asked them to update my information...

a week later I call them as I never got a call back, the service department told me the parts were not in, I asked them to check when will the part be deliver as they told me it will take only a couple of days, I was put on hold for about 5 minutes and I decided to call back and ask for the service manager.

After speaking to the service manager, he told me the parts were there and they could do the replacement next week, I asked him why they did not call me, got no answer, only an apology.

I made sure he has my updated information this time around, I had 3 instances of miscommunication with the service department since I bought my car, this is the one that and quot;helpedand quot; me decide to look for another VW Service in the area.



To be fair, he did offer to send someone to pick up the car next week, so I don't have to drive out there and wait.

This is not the only time I had issues with this vendor, I am very happy with my VW, I did a lot of research before buying it, but I did not researched the dealer and that is my bad....

They had what I wanted in stock, but they did not negotiate at all on the price. The price was fair, I asked for some accessories, but they stumbled on getting that correct. The car itself is fine, but the dealership couldn't figure out the right part combination to work with. Some of the parts installed were missing parts , they put the parts on, the parts fell off. Eventually I had to complain to them to get them to correct the error.The roof rack and some bumper guards were added on after market price, they stumbled on this issue.

Maguire has turned things around in their Hyundai/Subaru service department. Now they are excellent. They apparently brought in a new service manager, and everything is done correctly now. I applaud this turnaround!

Very mixed, price was good, dealer convenient BUT
The first two sales people were clueless, after complaining to sales manager finally got one that was very knowledgeable and was great to deal with.
Dealer installed options , one improperly installed and had to make a couple if trips to get it replaced correctly. To their credit no problems or arguments, had a new part there the next day.
In the middle of winter new car was delivered with no windshield wiper fluid, I was not happy when I tried to deslush the windshield.

I've never had a problem with the Toyota service, where I've taken my car several times. It's nice that they have a shuttle to take you to work and pick you up after.
However, we did have a disagreement with the Subaru service center (which is a separate building from the Toyota one). After we had a very expensive series of repairs (over $3000), a friend in Pennsylvania found that our radiator hose, which they charged us to replace, was leaking and obviously not new. We had it replaced immediately in PA, as its failure could lead to significant further damage. When we went to Maguire to inform them of their mistake and ask for a partial refund for the hose (with a signed letter from the repair shop in PA) they just told us that they didn't think they'd forget something like that and would not consider reimbursing us for our additional cost, which was ~$300, a fraction of the total amount we'd spent originally. They said they'd refer the issue to their corporate office, but we never heard back about it.
The employees are generally professional and helpful. However, our experience with how they handled an error was not optimal and we'll probably avoid them in the future.

Saw an ad for a Toyota truck at a good price. Called. Said they had
one left. I agreed to meet the salesperson within 1-2 hours. Drove 40
miles. Upon arrival was told the vehicle had been sold 20 mins. ago.
Offered me a comparable vehicle for $4000 more than the ad price!
Admitedly, it was a 2013 vs. a 2012 model. Don't know if that's
bait-and-switch, but I will NOT shop McGuire's showroom again.

Dealer had a good selection of the model I was interested in. Salesman was young and inexperienced but was pleasant to work with. Dealer had too many worthless add-ons to sell. Such as an electronic rust protection gadget. The initial financing interest rate offered was very high. Be sure you know what a good interest rate is before going in. Sales area was not very private and run down. Don't be pressured in buying the worthless add-ons. Just keep saying no.

Most recently, I took my Prius in for its fifteen thousand mile maintenance check. I spent two hours in their waiting room, which irritated me because they only did minimal work. Furthermore, they didn't rotate my tires because they felt it wasn't necessary, but tire rotation was checked off of the service sheet they had given me. Basically, I felt that their service department wasn't as professional and honest as I would have liked.
