After leaving 5 different messages over a 7 week span, I finally called and spoke to someone that Marvin was not interested in the project.  I consider this to be the epitome of unprofessional customer service.  This could have all been taken care of in the same fashion had Marvin provided that he was not interested on the initial consult.

It went well. The technician was thorough and friendly. He saved me the price of a new thermostat by discovering the batteries had just started to corrode. I was satisfied with the service I received.

The guys at HSC are very responsive. They returned my calls promptly and answered all my questions. They did a great job fixing the system which is now quieter and more efficient and I'm no longer worried that the unit will spontaneously shut down.

They were able to do the job on relatively short notice, at the beginning of the summer season, and were very professional about it. They also did good follow up. It's a local company, and easy to talk to the people. I would recommend them.

This company provided efficient, courteous service. When my 25 year old furnace malfunctioned on Wednesday of last week, during the first deep cold snap of the season, it was turned off by a service provider from a different company (not HSC), and I was advised that it would be dangerous to turn it on again. After reviewing the estimates I had received last year, I decided to have HSC replace the furnace. I called them from work on Thursday, and they agreed to honor the estimate that they had given me 6 months before. They also said that they would come to the house early Friday to get the old furnace running for the weekend since they couldn't put the new furnace in until Monday. (I couldn't be back soon enough to let them in on Thursday.) The service person came on Friday and the house was warm for the weekend. I am annoyed that the other company let me suffer through two very cold nights and thankful that the HSC service person knew what to do. He was careful, took his time, despite it being the end of the day, and explained what he was doing and what he thought was wrong with the furnace.
Even though the house was warm, the furnace was clearly at the end of its life and had become unreliable. It was time to replace it. The HSC people came on Monday morning and four hours later, left me with a quiet, clean, high efficiency furnace purring away in the basement. They were polite, quiet, worked very quickly, cleaned up afterwards, and answered all of my questions.
Since the air conditioner is also 25 years old, and we have had problems with it as well, HSC will be installing a new one as part of the package. The inside fittings were installed along with the new furnace. The condenser and other outdoor components will be installed in the spring, when the snow is gone.

hsc has been handling the ACs in my retail businesses for a number of years. They are a really reliable company and have always helped us out whether it be for a simple, inexpensive yearly AC maintenance or for the replacement of the compressor a few years ago when the old one finally gave out.i would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Estimator was knowledgeable and professional, estimated 1.5 days for the work. Installation was 2 weeks later, 3-man crew arrived on time and did work in 1 day, although supervisor ran final checks and tests for 1 hour the following day. Crew was courteous and well-prepared with correct tools and equipment. Work product looks solid to me.

Called them as soon as I determined that the pilot light was out and would not relight. HSC answered the phone promptly, and had a repair person here within a couple of hours. Work was done competently and professionally, and they called a week later to confirm that I was satisfied with the work.
