I was pleased. I like him he did a good job.

I was pleased with them.

They were very professional, knowledgable, fast and reasonably priced. I will definitely use them again when we need more work done with the trees.

They were easy to get ahold of, I even had a returned phone call on a Saturday. They called Sunday to let me know they were able to fit me in on Monday. They came, did the work like tree pruning ninja, and were off competely cleaning up after their work.

He has still not picked his time or contacted me to give me a clue when the job might be completed, but it has been pretty wet, and with the recent storms, he may have emergency jobs or anxious customers. I am neither.

The most annoying thing about this whole deal is that Angie's list is so strident in bugging me to review this transaction.

In May 2013, the provider, after arriving half an hour late, gave an estimate to do some periodic trimming and pruning, and said he'd do the work in two or three weeks.
After four weeks went by, I e-mailed him to check on the status of the job, and five days later he emailed me back saying it was too wet to do the job, he'd be out when things got drier.
Eight weeks after that, In August, I left him a voice mail inquiring about the status of the job. He called back a week later and said I was still on the list, there were three to five customers ahead of me, he'd be out in five to seven working days.
It's now November 22, 2013, and still no sign of him.

I got them from a neighbor. My experience with them was good, and I have no problems with them. I would hire them again! Everything was very good!

I had a good experience. They were very good and they seemed to know what they were doing and they were very safe and they cleaned up. They were prompt and they cleaned up.

Overall I was happy with the work. I elected to leave about 10' of the main trunks of the two trees in place to save whatever money I could since I'm living on savings at this point. My main goal was to prevent/limit damage in the future from the dead tree falling at some point in the future.

The crew was very efficient, doing the job quickly and cleaned up well after their work. The remaining trunks are probably ugly, but, as I said, that was my choice.

Some things I was less happy with was that the final cost of the work turned out to be $50 more than I had thought had been estimated. I decided not to challenge this and just paid. I also wasn't provided with a firm date when the work would be performed. But apparently that is relatively common with companies scheduling their work on a day to day basis. I did get a phone call the night before the work was done letting me know they were coming.

Since they did a good job I would be willing to use them again. However, in the future I would probably try to get more estimates and ask more questions about how likely it would be that the final price would not exceed the estimate.
