The project was completed almost to the day estimated. All workers involved were punctual, professional and nice. There were of course bumps along the way in the 4 months they were at our home but they were all addressed timely and to our expectations. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for and I feel very happy with our new home and would recommend Kuhn to friends and family.

Assigned to Chip for both projects.  Excellent plumber for bathroom, Prompt and stuck to schedule.  Clean up excellent.  Work on siding given nice finishing touches so that future leaks would not occur.  Attention to task and reliability.  Sound, sturdy construction and knowledgeable plumbers and carpenters.  Recommend them and would use again.  Just make sure you are clear from start about what you want done.  Great followup from Kuhn afterward.  When I saw all the recent reviews, I felt I better let people know my good experience.

The electrician was very professional and knew his craft. If he saw something that wasn't right, he let me know. He was a jack of all trades, as he noticed my shutters hanging off. He went ahead and put the shutters on better than they were originally.  Their pricing was fair.

Horrible. The corner shelves ordered don't fit. The corner seat bench you would have had to stand on it to take a shower
the shower doors were slide doors should be hinged and the vanity was damaged. The sink holes for the faucet
were to be one unit and were cut for hot, cold and center. So nothing came out as ordered or planned.
The came to measure and changed things claiming they received a verbal okay but they never did. They originally
were to come 9/22 and I took a weeks vacation. Called me 9/18 and cancelled because the vanity wasn't coming in til 9/24 .
Couldn't re-arrange my vacation as it was to late of a notice and not that it mattered to them anyway.
Unfortunately, now we have 1/2 bathroom done and the other half wrong. Shelving and seat should have been advised
when planned with sizes known to sales people and planner.. And on top of all this they are annoyed with us....
Resolution to all this in unresolved right now. Now it comes down to changing and waiting and making more of a mess
and not really getting what I originally wanted. I should have left the bathroom the way it was and never went with
Kuhn....

They are very good. They did the work for me a few times. There was nothing that they could have improved on. They were wonderful, clean, and courteous. I thought they were great. The price is very fair and excellent. I couldn't have asked for more.

from inside the house looking out it looked find. upon closer look, seams were a mess, some bricks were cut raged against house. The space between brick and house was only sealed on one corner. They used sand, which I later found out is not the best thing.

someone did come to try and clean up the cement in the seams, but really couldn't be done.

Kuhn is a construction company, which I understand does good work as a construction company. The only thing I used them for was for mason work, which was not done very well. The railing seems to be fine.

From the very begining the Owner, Jeff wanted to know what what our budget was. How much we were willing to spend.
Our initial visit was in his office. He told us his designer Lynn would come over take measurement and give us a design that would be functionable and fit our budget which was about $45, 000
He said the way his payments are collected are done by stages of completed work. Unfortunately for the consumer you are shelling out a lot of money while the work is dragging. It took months just to decide on a plan for the kitchen. The designer wanted to change the configuration of our deck which would of raised our cost production. We were told the combined jobs would take a few months so by July 2010 it would be completed. We shook hands in February 2010.The job did not go as planned as they had to come back numerous times and fix plumbing and painting issues. We were told he didn't use sub contractors but it seems that's what he uses because we saw many different men.
They also damaged appliances and an outside walkway. I do have numerous photo's saved as the job progressed. It's been awhile now so every detail on what we went through are lost but overall I would not recommend them to anyone. Even today as I write this I am waiting to hear back from them because we have discovered a major leak under the kitchen sink. The leak is severe and because it's over a dry slab went unnoticed for a long time. Our water company had sent us a letter month's ago advising us that our water usage had almost doulbed. I have since gotten NARI involved to mediate this situation but we are still without a kithen sink two months later. They also used a bleach solution to cover a back outside wall which had mold on it and put new sheetrock over that. We didn't know at the time that it's not how it's done according to industry standards.
At the end of the Job while going throgh the final punch list I told jeff that there were a few cosmetic things we weren't happy about. We still owed a $1,000. He said he would try to fix it. We shook hands he left and he never came back again. he had then sent an email stating that we were very difficult to please and that we could keep the thousand dollars. We had and still have real issues with this company.

We found everyone at their company to be super professional and really anxious to please. They worked with me to get the window I wanted, and the guys who did the install were great. Especially Tom, who did the inside trimming, did an amazing job on the new molding - he made it look perfect, despite the challenges of the wall he had to work with. We couldn't be happier with the whole experience - the estimator, project manager, the guys who did the work, the guy who did the cleanup, even the gal in the office who facilitated the comminication and scheduling. There wasn't a disappointment in the bunch. Definately the company to go with!

The sales rep first provided the estimate, the general contractor then came by to verify the work needed and provided names of the crew with the date and time they would start. The crew showed up on time and worked all day the first two days of the job - the painters came back the next day to finish the painting. The majority of the job was done to perfection - just a few missed spots from the painters which had to come back.

This was all part of a larger job. We had a designer and they were sub-contracted through them so I am not sure of what the cost for just the bathroom was. They were great and all the guys were first rate and the work was good. They may be a little pricey, but they know their stuff.

The overall experience was very good. I was pleased with the price as well. I would absolutely use them again if needed.

Kuhn promised that we would drive the budget. They exceded our initial budget that was discussed several times with salesmen. The communication about how much we were spending on the project was inadequate to nonexistent.
On the flip side, the workers on the job did nice work. They were respectful, professional and punctual. The layout and design of the project was done well. We would use their services again, if we didn't have to deal with the aggrivation of the salesmen.

Went very well. Returned after job was done to change faucet since we were not pleased with the one ordered.

They were fantastic. I would recommend them 100%. They were clean and they did a great job. From the salesmen to the end product they were awesome. They didn't pressure us to buy and after the work they came back to make sure every nail was intact.

THE ENTIRE JOB WENT VERY WELL. THE CREW CONDUCTED THEMSELVES IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER. ALL THE WORK TURNED OUT BEAUTIFULLY. ALL CONCERNS WERE ADDRESSED TO MY SATISFACTION ON THE PART OF THE CONSTRUCTION MANAGER.

Create two ceiling light boxes and install lighting fixtures where none previously existed.Relocate ceiling lighting and smoke alarm and installed new bathroom exhaust fan.
Work was timely and neatly. When finished it was hard to tell that they were even here. Everything was done as promised and all came out better than expected. Highly, highly recommend.

They did a great job. We have received many compliments on the work. Everything was done ahead of schedule, and at the cost we agreed upon.

They're a pretty good company but they overcharge. They didn't repair my chimney, this price was for putting up the tarp.

The experience was alright. They were punctual and there were no problems with their service. The only problem I had was, I called to schedule another appointment but they did not repsond so we are no longer using their services.

I did have problems rescheduling my electrical appointment. I originally had to re schedule because of my own conflict. When I called to reschedule they explained someone would be in contact with me soon. I did not hear anything. I continued to call and got the same results. Finally, I contacted the project manager and immediately an appointment was scheduled. He then explained I should contact him in the future. They were very pleasant to work with and I am happy with their services.
