My kitchen tile floor looks new. My grout lines had gone black and Classic Home restored them to their original off-white color. The floor was deep cleaned and looks gorgeous. My carpets were cleaned as well. They moved all small furniture and items out of the way, vacuumed and cleaned the carpet. It also looked new when done. The carpets dried in a reasonable amount of time. They weren't wet, just barely damp when they were done. They worked on stain removal for all spots and were successful on most. They were efficient and neat in their work.

I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal, but could not get this contractor to do the work! I tried e-mail, but got no response. I left phone messages, which went unanswered. Finally, I reached someone by phone, who told me to e-mail my list of repairs. I did this within the voucher period, but never received any response from the contractor!!!! So, he took my money, and did nothing!!!!

ONce the company found out where I lived, they declined to perform the work.

I tried to contact them several times by both phone and internet. When I
finally managed to speak to someone, I was told to e-mail them a list
of the work I needed done and that they would get back to me. I sent
them the list, and never heard from them again! It seems they must have
done this on purpose to pass the expiration date on the deal. I am very
unhappy that I purchased this "big deal," and have been afraid to
purchase any more Angie's list "big deals" because of this

I had the service done but there was other things that needed to be completed. They never called back to reschedule and to finish the job. The quality was fine but I will not use them again due to the lack of response.

They were not interested in doing the service. With each email that they reply to me, they keep pushing the service date back and not committing. They were always telling me to direct them. They keep saying that they need to plan ahead, which I understand, but it is the worst experience I've had trying to schedule a vendor.

They did a good job. They replaced a whole door, built a platform for my washer and drier in the basement. They took all the wallpaper down, painted my living room, ceiling, and hallway.

The work came out just great and better then I thought. I added more work each day until I had to stop. I plan on doing a bathroom in a few months and would use this company again.

They were on time. They were there every day when they were supposed to. They were nice people, but we were not happy with them. My husband is very handy, and he ended up doing so much of the work, even though he was hard pressed for time. The person who was to install the cabinets did not know how to do crown molding. This was a corner cabinet that needed special kind of work. It seemed that they did not have the expertise to do the work. They did not have proper tools; my husband had to go out and get a tool. He also used the tools that were in the house. My husband was also working in the kitchen, and he was picking up and using that tool; it was unprofessional, and I have never had that happen ever. I was shocked that they had received good reviews. I don?t know if we would have hired them except that they had such good reviews. I had a lot of confidence in them to begin with. They stuck with the price they quoted. They were willing to come back and redo things when we pointed out things that we didn?t like, and they ultimately fixed things up. We are now doing a bathroom; we won?t be using them again.

Ron from Classic Decorators and Design came to give me an estimate; he was very nice, took a lot of time with us, sitting, talking about the work he would do. But when it came time to show up for the scheduled date to do the work, they never showed up. No call, no show. I called all day, and the next day. I emailed the company, only to finally get an email back a day later saying they had a fire in their Riverhead office, and would get back to me. They never called again, or emailed me again. I had prepared for the work to be done on my bathroom by not using the shower for three days; having to use the shower at a friend’s house for those days, so that the bathroom tiles would be completely dry. I scheduled off from work for three days; only to have Classic Decorators & Design NEVER SHOW UP. I do not recommend this company. I would have accepted just about any excuse, but to not even call or show up is unacceptable…especially after spending so much time at my home; talking, telling me all about the work they would be doing… I thought this was going to work out so well, but I was very upset and disappointed. This put so much stress on an already stressful situation, because I had a leak that needed to be fixed immediately. I live in a condominium, and the bathroom tile was leaking on the unit below me. They understood my whole situation, but ended up being completely dishonest in their commitment.

Classic serviced our home Oct 10,2010 , they are a very neat and complete company! Our bathroom looks amazing and our cabinets are really beautiful !!!! They started the job 10/10 & completed it exactly 5 days from starting !! We love this company and have never been more satisfied !!!!!!
