Switched homeowners insurance and the underwriters expressed concerns about the condition of my roof. Jack Goetz arrived in a timely fashion. Was very polite and professional. Explained in detail the condition of my roof, what was required and performed necessary repair. Also advised that I could have the insurance company contact him with any questions or concerns. I intend to use AAA Advance Contracting for any maintenance required in the foreseeable future.

Jack Goetz had put a roof on a leaking garage for us over a year ago.
We called him again when squirrels ate through the shingles of our shed.
As always Jack came quickly and gave us his estimate. He said he would take care
of some other problems with downspouts and gutters with no extra charge.
We are very happy with Jack's cheerfulness and professional work.
We would definitely recommend him to neighbors and call him again when
we need roofing repairs.

Jack Goetz responded to my inquiry quickly and after measuring and reviewing the area gave an estimate and proposal on the spot. AAA's prices are not cheap but based on Angie's list and a neighbor's review, decided to go with them. Jack reps Owens Corning materials and pushes them pretty hard. I was ultimately happy with the shingle selection but there are other brands of shingles that are comparable or better performance and value on the market. Would suggest that the prospective roof buyer do their own shingle research in advance and go with the brand you like or was well reviewed.
After a one-day rain delay, Jack's crew of 15 people arrived on time. The roofers worked f approx 7:30am and completed the entire job by 5PM that day. Installation was professional and very well done. I was impressed with how square and even everything was and also how thorough the demolition of old roof and clean-up. They filled one very large dumpster with old roof materials and the crew was meticulous in their work besides being nice guys.
Jack did have to return following day to complete flashing on flat roof, and properly trim-out the interior of roof window well with cedar 1 X 10's  which was not quite properly installed the first time. Separately, after I discovered a minor drip in my ultiility room, he came back to close an unused chimney properly for which he charged an add'l $250. I didn't think he should charge for that after being paid $24K for the roof job but he did quote a price and I accepted it, preferring not to call in another contractor for a simple chimney closing only. In any case, this didn't dampen my enthusiasm for the work done and I would highly recommend Jack Goetz & AAA Advanced Contracting to a friend or neighbor without reservation and would use them again.

I joined Angie's list to find a highly rate contractor close to my home. I had called and spoke to many other roofers; some of the quotes i received seemed outrageous. I called AAA ADVANCED CONTRACTING spoke to Jack; scheduled for a quote the next day. Jack was very prompt. I explained what the problem was with my roof and he was able to give me a solution and price. The price Jack gave me was by far the more reasonable price from all of the other roofers. Signed the contract on Friday and Jack was able to start on Wednesday.He was very punctual the job only took him two days to complete i love my new roof. What i like about AAA ADVANCED CONTRACTING is that Jack was at my house on top of my roof working. If i ever need to do anything that requires a contractor, I know who I will call.

We knew that at the least we needed to have another layer of shingles put on our roof, and possibly have the roof replaced. We got two estimates, first from another company recommended by my father-in-law, and then another from AAA Advanced Contracting, chosen because of proximity and high ratings on Angie's List. The first company told us that we would need to rip off all the shingles and replace the roof (he said there was a "spongy" spot), including new boards underlaying the shingles, and quoted us a price around $13,000. He told us that if he was just a fly-by-night operator who would leave town, then he would reshingle our roof, but he didn't think that would be enough, and his reputation was at stake.
Then Jack (?) from AAA Advanced Contracting arrived and gave his opinion and estimate. He said that he thought we didn't need to completely replace the roof, and that another layer of shingles would be sufficient. He said he's been in business 10 years or so, and he personally guarantees his work for 10 years, plus the shingles he uses are good for 50 years (20 years longer than most shingles nowadays). He quoted us $3,550 for the work. Since the other roofer said another layer of shingles wouldn't be enough, we asked Jack a couple of times if he really thought just another layer of shingles would do it, and he said yes. He had shingle samples with him with the color options, and we asked some questions, then said we'd get back to him.
Since the roofers said such different things, my husband then went up on the roof to see what he thought. He couldn't find the "spongy" spot the first roofer mentioned, and we had a lot of other things we wanted to use our money for, so we decided to go with Jack and AAA Advanced Contracting, figuring that even if the roof only lasted us five years, that would do for now, and likely in five years we'll have more money available for house repairs.
We called Jack, he came back and we gave him our color selection, and then the next week he returned and put on a new set of shingles in one day. This was two weeks before Hurricane Sandy hit, and our roof weathered the storm admirably: no leaks, and no loose shingles afterward, as had happened to this house after Hurricane Irene a year before.
The roof still looks great five moths later, and it held up just fine through winter and a couple of nor'easters. Overall, Jack did a great job, the final price came in just as he quoted it, and he saved us a ton of money by not trying to oversell us on something we didn't need immediately. I'm extremely pleased we went with him.

It was a good price for the new roof. They were very professional and prompt. They tore the old roof very quick and also put the new roof in about a day. They were very good company to work with, I had no problems with them. They also put a 300 square foot deck on in a previous job. The deck job went exactly like the roof job. They were very prompt and professional. After shopping around and getting estimates the deck was $4000 and that included materials.

In an industry notorious for no shows and late arrival,s Jack was always on time, attentive, and completely professional. I would highly recommend him and his company. I plan to use him again when we reside our house.
