IRRIGATIONS SYSTEMS

First of all, zones 1,2,3 stop working every summer a few weeks after they turn on system. I end up paying for them to re-wire their poor quality work every year. This year I told them I was not paying for it. John, the owner, had a huge issue with this. He came to the house and my wife, who was home alone at the time, went out to greet him. Immediately he started in with her that he does not work for free. He started yelling at her so loudly that my neighbor came over to try to diffuse the situation. He initially did not want to speak to me over the phone when my wife suggested it, but then changed his story when my neighbor suggested it. He needs to work on his customer service skills. I was able to finally speak with him and he was just as angry to do the re-wiring for free as I was at paying for it over and over again. I have had confrontations with him in the past, and this was the last time. He said he fixed zones 1 and 3, but zone 2 need other work. He could not tell me how much it would cost, not even a ball park. He said I needed a new solenoid, and I would have to pay for that. I was so angry at him that I told him I will not be using him any longer, and I would rather pay a new sprinkler company to do the work. He left the sprinkler control box dug up and everything exposed. I called them and told them not to come back any more.

In the fall they are supposed to come and close down the irrigation system. They usually call and say that they are closing down the irrigation system but they never did.  We have not seen them since June.  My husband called them I guess in December when he realized that they did not come to close the sprinklers, when they said that they are done for the season.  They only apologized for overlooking us.  We have had sprinklers in our old house and we have dealt with other companies and they always call you to set up opening and closing appointments.  They never called us and we forget as we had a lot of going on and we forgot to call them.  I believe we have been using them.  It is not the first time that we were using them.  Price wise I do not know what other people in the area would charge.  I think their prices are right around the same as other companies in the area.  I don’t think we would be using them in the future.

I was happy with the level of service I got for the replacement of new sprinkler heads. Irrigation systems came out quick and were very affordable. My yard is greener than it ever has been.

They gave me good advice about installing a new control box as opposed to fixing the old ones. They've also been winterizing and opening my system the last couple of years and have been courteous and punctual.
