I called the owner about this a week after the fact as I had to go out of town the day after the work was done and he would not entertain coming back for a repair to the work that was done.
I highly suggest staying away from this company.
"The member received a verbal estimate with price quotes. A contract was typed & faxed (Contract=$6550). She read & signed the contract over 1 1/2 wk giving her ample time to make any necessary changes &/or additions. A $500 deposit given as in any business transaction. (Since inception scheduling problems experienced.) On 10/31 worked 3 days straight: Power washing, installation of bead board vinyl siding w/ bendable j-channels, caulking & installation of vents leaving very few items to be completed. Money paid $4025 as work done. Rescheduled 11/19. (Customer out of town.) However, due to weather, scheduling, Thanksgiving unable to return that week or the following of 11/26. She called 11/30 wishing to cancel remainder of contract (crown molding inside, installation of shelf, attic door, deck caulking) in order to use the money to fix her leaky porch. (Credit given $1150). Leaving a new balance of $875. She became irate saying that she did not owe any more money & is now demanding a refund on services already rendered. Proposal to credit her account ($875) to get another contractor to finish the odds and ends. (Approx 2 hrs worth of work.) She rejected the idea, later stating that she was only willing to pay $475 with the ultimatum that the work could only be done between 12/3 & 12/10! Thereby leaving little or no opportunity for us to complete the job, while in addition attempting to blemish our A-1 rating in customer satisfaction!"
