Frank and his helpers arrived at the time he said he would. They carefully took my furniture and I was told by Frank that it would take about two weeks to complete. Two weeks later, Frank and his helpers delivered the furniture. Theses are mid-century living room pieces that my parents owned and they looked as good as the day they were first purchased. Highly recommended.

The cost was more than I expected but the work was well done.

Frank was amazing to work with. He was professional and detailed throughout the process of refinishing my dining room chairs and and 3 cocktail tables. When he delivered them back to me they were amazing and looked as perfect as the day they were purchased. I would not hesitate to recommend him and he would b my first choice to refinish any additional pieces I have.

I had an ~80 year old hutch that had been marbleized, two end tables with inlaid wood that are probably the same age that had been neglected and were in horrible shape (layers of wood separating) and an old baby chair that needed to be re-rushed and refinished. Frank did an amazing job, way better than I ever expected. After he stripped the old finishes off the furniture, he called us into his shop so that we could choose a new finish. His employee spent over a half hour with us going over the raw wood, any issues that arose and showing us different stains. The end result is dramatic. I got Frank's name from this website and based on the stellar reviews did not get any other quotes so I don't know if I could have gotten the job done cheaper. There were a few add on costs so the total job ran about $500 over the initial quote which was over $3,000. but based on the results I feel like I got great value for my money.

Fast and thorough.

My 25 year old kitchen was showing its age. The maple wood cabinetry had lost its luster. The finish had been rubbed down to the bare wood in many spots. Some areas were discolored. Remodeling the kitchen was out of our budget, and besides, the wooden cabinets were of high quality and, other than the finish, were all in excellent shape. We had several estimates for refinishing our cabinets. We went with Frank of the Refinishing Company. He impressed us with his integrity, and pride in his work. This was more than just a money-maker for him. He does quality work, and does not cut corners to save himself a few bucks. He discussed all the options with us, and was a pleasure to work with. The cabinets look like brand new. (it helps that we replaced the dated knobs with more up to date cabinet pulls.) You can trust him to give you a fair price and do a fantastic job.

I love the way my dining table was finished. When I called Frank I became so emotional - this table has been in my family for many years. I want to thank Frank's team for making an old table new again.

The job was to refinish a 50 year old hutch in our kitchen. Frank is a real gentleman and very easy to work with. He came to our apartment, gave us a price, which was lower than all the others we had received, and arranged for pickup. The pickup was right on time, and he suggested we come to the shop on Long Island to check out the work in progress. We did so, and were very pleased with what had been done. We were given a choice of the type of finish we wanted. His craftsmen were very nice and helpful. The final product was delivered after about three months and it is just beautiful. It looks brand new, and lights up our kitchen. The cost was exactly what was told to us, although Frank mentioned that it required quite a bit of extra work. We highly recommend this business.
