Sam was very up front about the services the company offered and didn't. He showed up on time and did the work efficiently, and even recommended a reasonable technician to complete testing after the mediation work was completed. He was also consistently responsive and helpful whenever we asked questions via text. If we ever need him again (though hopefully not!!), we would definitely hire him, and absolutely recommend him to others!

Dealing with black mold in your home is scary. Ours turned up in the master shower floor. Sam was so very helpful. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He explained every step in the process and kept me well informed. I would definitely call Sam again if needed and encourage anyone to not hesitate to call Green Home Solutions.

So far, so good. Basement is free of damp, moldy odor, and we hope that this less-expensive remedy will last for many years to come. Sam was a delight to work with, very professional but also friendly and easy-going, willing to listen and make suggestions, but no "hard sell" on anything. Bill, the Humidex installer, was also very professional but also friendly. Both explained everything completely and answered any questions I had, even after the jobs were done.

Sam, a very knowledgeable and friendly young man, did a great job exactly as advertised. He also avoided one of my pet vendor peeves, which is people being late and not contacting you. Sam got stuck in some traffic and phoned BEFORE our appointed to time to tell me that he was stuck in traffic and anticipated being about 15 minutes late. He then showed up as advertised approximately 15 minutes late. Small thing perhaps, but much appreciated and often overlooked by many vendors.

Our parents's house had to be prepped for putting it up for sale. After having a home inspection, deep cleaning professionals and a hazardous materials removal expert come through the house - it was unanimous that the dark spots along the basement walls are mold and cannot be cleaned by traditional methods. We were in the process of scheduling a carpenter to perhaps replace the moldy drywall but that wouldn't solve the root cause of the problem. I contacted Sam at Green Home Solutions for an initial phone consultation after sending him pictures. It was very educational - and I had no idea learning so much and can even use that information for my own house! We then scheduled an appointment for an in-person walk through of the entire house, not just the basement. Sam looked from the attic to the basement as well as the exterior of the house and made discoveries that one wouldn't even think of where moisture can seep and sink in to cause mold. He gave us 2 recommendations - one was to use their special compound spray on the walls and the other was to remove the drywall for an even deeper cleaning. Our budget did not allow for option 2, so the spray would have to suffice. There were other mold issues to fix on the 1st and 2nd floors, which Sam included in his quote and provided a senior citizen discount as well. Also included was a 'fogging' treatment for the entire house. The day of the service, Sam arrived with his equipment and after he was done, the house was not accessible for a couple of days until the fogging treatment had dissipated. When we opened the house after the recommended number of days, the house smelled fresh and all the mold stains were gone - the walls looked new and ready for a fresh coat of paint! Sam did provide further advice that the basement itself is very damp and the water table in the neighborhood is very high that contributes to moisture easily entering the house. Future occupants of the house would need to dehumidify the basement constantly to ensure that mold doesn't return - or they'd have to call Sam to the rescue! BTW, Sam's a great guy - super helpful, courteous and punctual!

They were really reassuring about some thngs. It wasn't serious mold, it was just wet basement issues. They gave us this product and we did it ourselves, and then they installed the dehumidifier and we haven't had any issues since. I would use them again. It has been pretty reliable.

Our home insurance did not cover the damage so we were on our own. We called GHS as well as several other mold removal companies and they were by far the most competitive. They removed the effected dry wall, treated our affected rooms and came back to rebuild the walls they had to take down. Sam was amazing and pretty much held our hand through the whole ordeal. He worked neatly as did his rebuilder. Within 2 days, you would never have known they were there. Sam followed up every step of the way and made sure they we were happy with the progress. They did an amazing job and I cannot recommend their services enough. *The cost was a little higher with the rebuild but was well worth it, especially when faced with the alternative option of a $10,000 gut job with 7-10 days of being without a bathroom. Also our pics are only a portion of the job. They did such a thorough job that we barely have to paint. If you can choose your rebuilder, we had Ely and his work was impeccable.

They were extremely efficient, professional, and friendly. I did extensive research and they were the best priced by far for quality remediation (Green Home uses organic particles that penetrate sheet rock and are not hazardous to human health). Extremely satisfied all in all!!!

From the moment that Sam, the tech, entered our home, we KNEW that we chose the right company. He explained our problem and went into detail as to the way they were going to handle it. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with someone like that especially when the situation is not a pleasant one. It was a pleasant experience with the company overall. As their technology is new, it require lot of self convincing before hiring their service. Even though internet reviews helped, a talk with Mr. Ohavia. He was very knowledgeable and could explain me in detail of how and why it works.
Also, when I called them for estimation, Mr. Sam came down and had a look. He was so professional in explaining his findings. Then when the time came, I hired them. Mr. Sam came in and completed the task as promised with least disturbance to our living. Needless to say, their price is just a fraction of what their competitors asked for.
So in future, should there be a need, I will use or recommend to any of my friends without hesitation. Nice company and educated professionals who actually get the job done with assurance.
