The roofing work went okay,although we do have a leak in the porch roof that we never had before with the old roof. We have someone else coming to look at that problem, because we've not been satisfied with followup service from this company. The gutter work was the main problem. First, it was delayed for about ten weeks. Then when they came to do the work, they took longer than they expected. Some equipment they needed wasn't available on the day they came to work. When the job was supposedly completed, we found that the gutters dripped and leaked in many places all around the house. In this year of heavy rain, that added to our wet basement. When they came to look at the problem, Chad seemed to not have any ideas about how to fix it except to add more silicone to the gutters. Chad was getting frustrated and complained that he was losing money on the job. After a week or so we sent Chad an email saying that the gutters were still leaking. We also paid him (which we perhaps shouldn't have done) because we didn't want him to be out the money for materials. A month went by and he still hadn't cashed our check. We assumed it was because he knew the job wasn't really finished and that he planned to come out and try again. However, he finally sent a bill and said he assumed the gutters were okay. We resent our email from a month earlier and told him we'd put a check in the mail at the same time. Strangely he didn't get the email OR the check in the mail! When we called again, the vice president spoke to me rudely and said, "Just send us another check and be done with it!" Stop payment on the check cost us $35.00 There are a couple of testimonials on this company's website and we're assuming they do good work in some areas. Chad made a good first impression on us which is why we hired him over another company that actually gave us a lower bid. We regret that decision and cannot recommend this company to others who need professional and prompt roofing or gutter work done.
