Very professional

Mike was great. Our existing tenant house water softener was leaking badly and needed to be replaced. He assessed the household requirements and recommended the appropriately sized new softener system (the existing system was far too large and unneeded). He quoted an exact price over the phone, and that was the price we paid, no hassle. Installation was quick (less than an hour), professional, and clean. Mike and his crew were a joy to work with, and we will be using them again for any future needs.

Mike is very responsive and professional. He answered all my questions. He even called me back on a Saturday night in response to my email with some questions I had about the system he quoted. The work performed was neat and the piping was of top expert quality. I would recommend them to anyone in need of updating their water treatment system.

Quick install, showed up on time and took away the old system. Tested hardness of water and programmed the system. I Would hire Mike and John again. I didn't rate the price because I really don't know, but it's much better than the antique I had been using for 25 years. A rebate was included in the cost and I didn't have to file for it.. They also fixed a couple small issues that they spotted at no extra charge.

Mike was professional and his work was quick and clean. I highly recommend the Hauge softner (old one lasted over 25 years) and the installation was immaculate.

I found him on Angie's list and called Mike who returned my call within minutes. He gave me his credentials (decades of experience) upfront without my having to ask and Mike was extremely accommodating of my schedule as I commute and couldn't be home in normal business hours. He arrived on time to see the system and provide an estimate, explained everything to me and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. He explained the options and I opted to replace the system given its age. He gave me a fantastic price as a past Hague customer, arrived when he said he would and was in and out on time, leaving me with a clean, neat and functional brand new Hague water system. I am completely confident that I chose the right man for the job, the right system for the job and I would wholeheartedly recommend him and the Hague product to anyone needing a water softener system!

My call was promptly returned. They came out to test my water, made specific recommendations based on our discussion, and set up an appointment for completing the project within the same week. I appreciated the honest and frank discussion we had as to what was needed for my particular home. I did not feel pressured at any time to make any purchases. Once a decision was made by me materials were ordered. On the date of installation they arrived on time, were prepared for the job at hand, removed the old system, installed the new system, and cleaned up the work space when completed. I also received a follow up call and contact numbers should I have any questions and or concerns. They want to be sure that I was satisfied with my new system. I was pleased with the work done.

It went great. They were on time, pleasant to deal with. The existing water softener had been installed poorly with excess piping and a bad drain system. They addressed all of that, repiping, adding a new drain with check valve, added a brace to support the line coming into the house and repositioned the new unit to a better location, all for the previously agreed on price. All in about an hour and a half. Great job, couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommend them.

Mike Rivette did an outstanding job. He was extremely knowledgeable,courteous,and just plain great to work with,and answered all my questions(it was pretty obvious that he was an expert in his line of work)he even went out of his way to fix some clogged valves of mine,at his own cost,so his own unit would would function optimally. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS without any hesitation-and by the way, the unit is nice looking,fists in small spaces,and is very quiet and efficient.

Extremely well. We have used Mike Rivette (Hague Water Systems) in the past for an installation on a water softener/filtration system. He is always available whenever you call him to answer questions. He comes right over to your home within 30 minutes. He is very knowledgeable in his field. He does great work and cleans up after he is done with the job. I trust him explicitly with his recommendations on what my needs are. That's why I called him to come over and replace my well pressure tank. He goes over and beyond. I would recommend him highly and I have recommended him to many others.

It could not have gone better, as evidenced by the justified straight-As I entered above. I recommend that one interested in obtaining a water-treatment system first call a company other than Hague, ask questions about how their system works, the cost, the benefits, the warranty (length and coverage) and how--exactly--their system compares to a "comparable" system offered by Hague. Listen closely to how the individual (likely just a salesperson) responds. Then call Mike Rivett at Hague and do the same thing. Based on my experience, the difference in his experience, expertise, and professionalism, let alone in the benefits, cost, and warranty of the Hague product, will be night and day and choosing Hague will be a no-brainer.

Can recommend a water systems enough! Outstanding job was done by Mike and his service manager. We were selling our house in a fishbowl New York to have a water softener installed in the basement and I wanted to have a reverse Osmosis system with filters installed under the sink. Mike came within two days after contacting him both systems for an outstanding price. This work was of the highest quality and we are extremely happy with everything. Hague Water New York is a very reliable and professional water purification company. They responded quickly to my initial query regarding a problem I had been having with bad smelling and tasting water coming from my old water cleaning system. They came promptly to my home tested my water and made recommendations on how to resolve the problem. I opted for a brand new water system which they installed quickly, cleanly and at a very reasonable cost. They are experienced, honest and professional. I highly recommend them.

Each time I have contacted Mike he promptly addresses any issues and answers any questions I have. It doesn't matter when I call, Hague is available to help. Mike's kind, caring, thoughtful manner makes him seem more like a friend than a business man. Hague Water Systems is definitely the BEST in service, price and reliability. Mike is the best. He is prompt and efficient - figures out what is working and what can be repaired. We asked him to look at filtration system and water softener. He looked at the whole system found a couple issues with the way the system was plumbed - which he repaired for free while he was doing the work. He talked us out of spending more money on a system that he thought we didn't need (as weekenders). I would recommend mike without reservation and use him again.

I have had one of Mike Rivette’s Hague water softeners and a reverse-osmosis filter for close to a year. I am totally satisfied. I was with Culligan for eight years, starting from when I bought the house and inherited one of their softeners. I also bought a reverse-osmosis filter from them. I went on their monthly plan and eventually found I was paying a lot of money for relatively little service without building equity for the expense, although the personnel who came to the house were all pleasant and professional. Mike was recommended by a manager at the local True Value Hardware. When I called Mike, he both asked and answered questions thoroughly. My follow-up call, perhaps a month later, convinced me to use his services. The softener settings required adjustment during the break-in period. Phone consultations were quick and expert. He made one personal visit at the time, at no charge, since he was tweaking a new system. He came to my house recently because the water had grown unexpectedly hard. He conducted routine water tests on samples I had collected over a period of days, checked the flow rate through the filter while one and then two taps were opened, and looked at basement pipes. Before long, he determined that a plumber who had recently repaired an outside faucet left a valve open. Untreated water was flowing back into lines that carried treated water. This inadvertent error was the problem and had nothing to do with the softener he sold me nor with a transient change in the mineral content from our well. The water problem is now resolved. In my opinion, Mike is a person of integrity who stands by his product and is not out to make every last penny out of every transaction. He is clearly more interested in creating a network of relationships. Through his commitment to his customers, he has certainly created a relationship with me. I do not customarily write reviews, whether at Amazon or elsewhere. In this particular instance, I’ve made an exception because I believe Mike is unusual in the way he does business, unusually excellent. I recommend Mike Rivette and Hague Water Systems of Hyde Park without any reservation.

We are so happy with the water treatment solutions we purchased from Mike Rivette. The installation he did was neatly done in one day! The products work great. We use less than 1/2 the salt that we use to use with our old system. I wasn't around when Mike did the install but he made a special trip back just to show me how it all works. We have had no problems with both of the systems he installed. Mike is a real pro and we are so happy we contracted him.

Fast installation. There was an issue with one of Mikes employees putting the wrong softener on
the truck. Instead of making us wait a few extra days mike gave us a refurbished unit temporarily and installed it. He scheduled is right away to come back and switch the unit out with a brand new one. I had an issue this evening with it making a noise. Mike called me back at 8PM on a Saturday. That is customer service right there. It was in a cleaning refill cycle and stopped 5 minutes later but it was great to know we could easily get a hold of him. The 

I sent an email on Sunday and Mike responded by phone within an hour. He asked many questions about our house and our water usage, as this is a week-end home, our usage is different than a permanent home. He spoke about the different options appropriate for our situation and we set up an appointment for Tuesday morning. He was there on time with an assistant and explained the two different systems to us that would fulfill our needs. He had both systems on his truck and was able to install the one we choose the same morning. The installation took about an hour, exactly the time he told us. This was very important as we had to return to the city that morning. He and his assistant were very professional, neat, prompt, and informative. Before leaving he instructed us on the use of the system and how to maintain it. Since soft water effects soap and soap suds differently than unsoftened water he gave us suggestions on the use of our dishwasher, washing machine, and general washing and shampooing. While he checked our whole water system he told us that the membrane in our water tank was torn. We already knew this from our own plumber. He gave us an estimate for a replacement tank installed and the price was well below the other estimates we received. He is returning in three days (when we are back at our country house) to install the new water tank. We feel very comfortable with the decision we made to use Hague Water Systems.
