The locksmith arrived right at the time scheduled and got right to work. He was unable to pick the locks that I did not have keys for, but he did succeed in re-keying without destroying them. He was not able to re-key one knob lock because I didn't have a key for it. The new knob was $65, so about $40 more than the cost of a re-key. He grabbed a used knob from his truck to replace the one that was missing at no charge. All of the locks work well with no issues after his visit.
Description of Work: My house has 7 exterior doors. When I purchased it, the seller did not have keys for two of the doors. One of the doors did not have a knob on the exterior. All locks were re-keyed, including knob and deadbolt on 2 doors and inside and outside deadbolt on 5 doors. One knob was replaced. A compatible knob was installed on the door that was missing one at no charge.
