Kevin and his team were fantastic! They were always on time, they worked cleanly, they pointed out issues well in advance, made suggestions that were spot and were all around total professionals. They made it during 2 blizzards to keep the job moving. All in all, everything came out fantastic and we will definitely have Kevin and team back again when we do the rest of our house this fall!

Kevin was AWESOME! The paint looks great, but what impressed me so much was Kevin's attention to detail, and his ability to spackle and smooth our walls and trim which was fairly rough in some places. He really is an artist and a master of his trade. Price was very competitive.

The job went smoothly from the estimate through the completion of the work. Kevin is a professional and shows up and works diligently. He was careful, considerate and did very nice work. I was happy with the end result.

This is the second time we've used KMR Painting. The first time was in 2012 and the paint job held up until 2019 -- excellent for an old house exposed to lots of wind and salt air. KMR prepares well and uses first rate paint. The men are closely supervised.

Kevin and his workers were all great. Fair price, quality work, honest guidance and extremely responsive. After power washing the house, we decided to just do trim repairs, painting, staining, interior and exterior touch up. Kevin adjusted his price fairly and was totally fine with our decision to not fully paint exterior. He explained everything along the way, answered all questions and showed up on time every day. Could not have been any easier. House looks great. No damage to plants. Garbage cleaned up every day before leaving. Highly recommended.

Kevin and his crew were very professional and hardworking. They arrived early and worked solidly all day. We were very pleased with the quality of their work.

Kevin came when he said he would, took care to cover the floors and the furniture.  He and his crew spackled an area where we had taken down wood trim and hammered and spackled popped nails.  He primed and painted the trim, walls and celing.  He said it would take three days and it would.  Kevin and his crew also cleaned up after themselves, and rehung curtains.   It was a pleasure.  

KMR, Kevin Ryan and team removed wallpaper from kitchen, hallway and bedroom and then painted. Although I had to wait many months to schedule this, it was well worth the wait. The service is obviously in demand and I had to wait but Kevin kept me posted along the way and was honest in telling me the time frame. Once work began, the team worked extremely hard from 8 AM promptly until 5:30 with only a short break for lunch. They accomplished the job in just 3 days. They were a very nice group of workers and they worked diligently. The walls were old and they looked great afterwards. Kevin was very nice and takes great pride in his work. I highly recommend him.  I had one other estimate and Kevin's price was quite a bit lower as well.

Kevin Ryan came to offer an estimate to replace areas of rotted wood and paint the front exterior of my home in August.  His estimate was the most reasonable of the 3 estimates I received, and I called to hire him.  He said he'd be busy for the next few weeks and would be able to come in September.  I was fine with the relaxed schedule because we had no pressing engagements coming up.  Kevin and his crew started the work mid November.  They worked over a total of 5 days, including Saturday and Sunday, skipping one day for rain.
Kevin is accomodating and nice.  He understood the strict rules imposed by the Village where I live, and did his best to work with the rules as well as finish the job in a timely manner.  He and his crew were quiet, and used their power tools only during the weekdays, since no noise was permitted during the weekends.  Kevin took the tiime to answer all my questions and even walked around my house when I asked him if he could give me advice on how my husband and I could do some painting ourselves. He saved me a lot of money for cost of materials by suggesting alternatives for the wood trim that meet the ground surface.
Overall, I am happy that I found Kevin through Angie's List and happy with the look of the finished product.
 

KMR?s pricing was the best of the 3 proposals I had  obtained.  Kevin?s men did a great job staining the exterior of my house, which hadn?t been done in 15+ years.  They first power-washed it, replaced rotted soffits, shingles and trim, and sanded the trim and the many many shingles which needed it.  They did a meticulous job, and the house looks terrific.  They also power washed the deck, removing the grime and stains much better job than I ever could!   They removed and replaced the furniture from the deck, and did a great job cleaning up afterwards.  They also came back later to finish the deck's "apron" which had been overlooked initially.  Kevin also helped me pick a new color for the front door, which complements the color of the surrounding brick and was a big improvement over the old color.  I couldn't be happier with their work.

Kevin Ryan, the proprietor, did not submit the lowest estimate for the job. In fact, his was the second highest I received. I gave him the work because he was by far the most careful about reviewing what the work would entail, in terms of surface preparation, ladder placement, and any clearance problems with the neighbors--a major item as my house sits very close to an adjoining property.
This turned out to be an excellent decision. He and his crew were meticulous in preparation, performed the actual painting in exceptional detail (even side bars of trim I had lined in earlier work), repaired wood and masonry expertly (with an added labor fee that was entirely reasonable), and cleaned up thoroughly. I would recommend him without qualification, and in fact have asked him for an estimate on a complicated interior job.

They took care of every details, and did work not in the contract at no additional cost. I would recommend KMR to anyone needing painting, you just cant go wrong. From the initial estimate visit through completion of the job, Kevin (owner/GC/painter) was very professional, caring, and responsive to all my questions and concerns.  He has a very easy way about him for talking things through, and was always available to talk, check-in, etc.  Always returned calls promptly.  He would advise me when he was getting close to starting, and called a couple of days in advance, and then the day before he would start.  I always knew the timeline.  Kevin's crew was very thorough and obviously cared about the quality of their work, as of course Kevin did.  When he was working on the job site, he'd stop by to check on it.  I always felt he was "in charge" and making sure everything went smoothly.  On the last day when the last coat was applied, it rained a few hours later.  Kevin came back to check on the paint's condition and told me "it was fine".  We are now about a month past the finish, and it is indeed just fine...looks great!  Kevin was also very reasonable for the job.  I got other estimates from Angie's List contractors...one was lower, and one was MUCH higher.  I went with Kevin not just because he was in the middle, but because he expressed a confidence in knowing exactly what my peeling siding and decks needed.  Not in an  over-complicating way that one company presented.  I would highly recommend Kevin's company...KMR Painting...and plan to use him again when we are ready to do some painting inside the house.

All of the workers at KMR were very professional, friendly and helpful. They cleaned up after themselves and put back all hardware, outlet covers etc. I am so pleased with their work, that I have rehired Kevin to now stain the outside of my house!
