I think they're a little on the expensive side, but they are convenient and are good.

Had an emergency with my cat on a Tuesday which is supposedly their late night. I called several times, got a recording and left an urgent message each time. The recording said the attendants were on another phone and would call back very shortly. Also went on-line to try and reach them (all way before 8pm) Finally had to go to a different vet . Found a message on my phone from them the next evening when I got home. Not only did they reference the wrong cat's name, they asked when I would like to make an appointment! I had never been crazy about their higher prices and one of the vets has a very superior attitude. The convenience of being only 5 minutes from my house was totally negated by this incident.

They are very, very caring and they don't oversell. If the problem is going to entail great expense and more suffering for the pet, instead of pushing to do it, they say it might be time to consider putting the pet down, which I think is very important. They are very good that way. Their prices are all pretty much the same.

Have a Maine Coon cat (pure breed) who appeared very ill when I got home on a Tuesday night, about 6:30pm. I called Harborside immediately and got a recording that no one could answer the phone and to punch and quot;0and quot; for the receptionist. Got another recording that receptionist was and quot;on another calland quot; and to leave a message and I would receive a call back as soon as receptionist was off the phone. Both of which I did - leaving my name, the name of my cat and my home telephone #. Please note that Harborside advertises that they are open until 8pm on Tuesday and Thursday. I called again at approximately 6:50 and got the same recordings. I then went online and sent them an email. At 7:20pm, still not having received a return call, I called a third time and again got the recordings. I left messages each time I called. I finally contacted another vet who was able to see my cat that evening. Very stressful and expensive. The vet I saw was very nice but the exam and a shot of antibiotics cost $491.00. The next day I discovered I had a message on my cell phone from Harborside. Imagine my horror when the person leaving the message said she was returning my phone call of the night before and was inquiring about my cat (giving the name of my other cat - not the one I referenced in my phone messages!). Not once did I leave my cell number as a contact, nor did I ever mention the name of my other cat who was not ill. The same message was left on my home phone, which I discovered when I got home Wednesday night, after work. Luckily my cat seems to be OK but I will definitely be looking for another vet - one who is there when they advertise they will be and also one who won't break the bank. What a night. My cat was none too pleased either, to say the least. I have used Harborside for many years as they are convenient, but I can't say as I have always been happy with them, for a variety of reasons.

I have been using them for 20 plus years. I have actually had two dogs put down there and they couldn't have been nicer, gave me great advice. I got a new puppy once and the doctor found a heart murmur, gave me a document and I took back to the breeder then the breeder refunded me on his doctor bill.

Harborside is excellent. I have gone through a bunch of different vets and this place is the best. The last exam went fine. The place is very clean and the doctors are very professional. Everyone is very nice and very understanding. Other vets were not clean and did not even consult with you. I am very happy with them.
