Description of Work: I did not go forward with Glitz for a bathroom renovation because he recommended a so called "architect" who was really a artist designer. The bathroom design that was sketched into a blueprint was inadequate because the glass shower door would have conflicted with the bathroom entrance door. This was confirmed by the the plumbing and bathroom fixtures supply store.

+ 0 morefantastic work at an incredible low price, $10,000 less than a friend of mine offered to do it. Very good work we got a new bathroom, on the den and 2 bedrooms we got all new walls and beautiful laminate floors also included was extensive plumbing work and a new oil burner.
Description of Work: completely remodeled the first floor of our home after hurricane sandy.

+ -1 moreThey started with the structure work for the house and were passed the inspection. After they passed the structure inspection, they started with dry wall, painting and flooring, and that was our nightmare started. The dry walls and floors were not levered which left big mess for the re-hired contractor to finish the job after they walked away in the middle of the project. We asked them to start tile works with the two small bathrooms. They did a horrible works! The new windows they installed were not leveled. They took the deposit for the deck (never performed the job) as well as the deposit for stucco which they did not pay his sub-contractor who did some of the works for him. They are far away from professional and very rude. It was the most horrified experience. We had saved some of photos as the kind of works they did and would never recommend anyone to hire them!

+ 1 morePrior to the beginning of the project I was concerned about the process as well the workers that I would encounter. After the first day all of my fears and concerns were put to rest and I enjoyed the process. Robert Whitehorn, President was very professional and helpful with giving me suggestions based on his expertise. His employees were on time, respectful, clean and funny.
Description of Work: My unfinished basement was approximately 1000 square feet and now it is still 1000 square feet however I have a beautiful finished basement. The entire basement was framed, insulated, drywalls on walls and ceiling were painted with two coats of Benjamin Moore paint. I had the oil burner/oil tank sectioned into its own rooms, additionally the laundry room was framed and painted. The floors of these three rooms have 18"x18" porcelain tiles, the living area as well as my three storage areas have Allure flooring. Pipes were moved up with pex piping which allowed for a higher ceiling. A total of 16 recessed lights were installed as well as lights and switches in all the other areas. The staircase was replaced and stained with pine railing and balusters.
